Chance of another night opening up?

I decided to book a spur of the moment trip for next weekend (Thursday through Sunday). But the ONLY value or mod available was CBR (which is great) and only for TWO nights (Thursday and Friday nights). I plan on calling every day before we leave....do you think the chances are good that the room will open up?

If I'm not able to add another night before we get there, I guess I will just try and add it on when we check in. If not, I guess we will be scouting Kissimmee for a cheap room on Saturday night.

Anybody ever added on another night upon checkin?

Congratulations on your trip!!!

I live by the NEVER give up, keep trying. You just never know things happen and people have to cancel all the time. Are you looking for just 1 more night there or are you flexible with your resorts? Obviously it's much better to be flexible when it comes to quick trips to Disney

Don't give up ! This morning I was finally able to get us a room at WL for Dec 20 (been trying for weeks) at AP rate.

ETA :
On the Disney site it shows availability for Oct 11-14 at CSR for 3 nights, but only with a King bed. Regular 2-bed room available 12-14.
There's availability for CBR on Thursday and POP on Saturday, so you'd have to switch for one night.

Woohoo!!!!

I called back this a.m. and they were had all three nights at the Coronado Springs Resort!!!! I love it there too!! PLUS they were still able to honor my AAA rate!

Just wanted to share my good news!!

Disney World here we come!!!

I am so glad everything worked out for you.

I encourage everyone trying to make any changes to their reservations to keep trying. And check more than once a day too. First I tried for two months to change our ressie from GF to Poly. Finally after two months I got lucky and was able to switch. Then I decided to surprise my two dd's and add an extra night to the beginning of our stay. There was nothing at the Poly. So I booked us at AsMovies for the 1st night. But I didn't give up, I kept trying. I checked the website 3 or 4 times a day. This morning I checked and there was nothing. I checked again a couple of hours later and still nothing. But guess what? I checked again about 20 minutes ago and the Poly had an opening for my extra night. I quickly called CRO and now we have all our nights at the Poly. WooHoo!
