We currently have a 2bdrm Boardwalk Veiw booked for our March Spring break. I just found out that my daughter will most likely have a volleyball tournament and we will have to postpone our trip until school is out. I called MS to see if they had the same room available starting May 27 and there was.
We have been discussing possilby trying to see if OKW has a GV available and inviting friends or family to join us since we will be going in the summer now. On a whim I asked if there happened to be a GV at the Boardwalk and there is! I was shocked! I have wanted to stay in a GV there since buying back in 1996.
Anyone stay in a GV there? It looks beautiful. We have the points to use, but I don't want to just throw them away either. We have not discussed it with anyone so I am not sure we would get anyone to commit to going with us, so now its just the 4 of us.
I would just hate to pass up this opportunity to try it out. I would probably have to book in the next day or so. Would you go for it or be more conservative?? DH is at work and I can't get in touch with him right now to discuss so thought I would throw it out here. Thanks for you input. :confused3

I'd book it right now (if I didn't have to borrow points to do it) thinking I could cancel if things didn't work out with DH. So no harm done.

If I knew I could use any borrowed points on another reservation if I had to cancel the GV, I'd even consider borrowing to book now. (Thinking I could bank the current use year points so no harm there, either - depending on use year, of course).

I haven't read about anyone who was sorry to have stayed in a BW GV. Seems like you might have to grab one while you can if you really want to stay in one.

Best wishes -

Grab it before I do... LOL! :teeth:

Seriously, a BWV GV is my WDW dream. (Wonder if they would grant that as a wish??)

The views look incredible... I would love to have one of those rooms just to sit and look out the window all night.

Go and enjoy... To some, this would be a once in a lifetime opportunity. Take it while you can!

I stayed in a GV at OKW last year and it was wonderful!!!

I think everyone should stay in one at least once!

I would definitely book it, even if it's just the four of you...we were only four too.

Good luck and have a great time! :)

GO FOR IT!!

This may be one of those things you will never be able to do again...

I'd book it, then poll family and friends to see if they want to come..

Call MS and book now! When we were at BWV in June, I overheard a group of people talking at the pool. They couldn't stop talking about a friend who was staying in a grand villa there and how nice, awesome, great, etc. it was.
I can't imagine you couldn't get someone to come with you. Have fun! Plus, like you said, you could always change your reservation before 30 days out if necessary.
