Chance at Wait List

We gave our very dear friends 6 nights at WDW for Christmas as their kids are 9 y.o. and this is their last chance to go with them still counting as children. They chose April 9 - 15, Spring Break season. We can get them into SSR, our home resort, but I was wondering what the chance of them getting a studio at VWL or BWV is during this very busy time. We're fairly new members so I've never had to do the wait list thing.

For all of the people who plan months in advance, there are last minute people like me. I can't think of a time in the 14 years I've been a DVC member that I've booked more than a month or two in advance. My reservations always start out scattered between resorts and usually with a couple of gaping holes. I just use wait lists and periodically check with Member Services (who are always extremely helpful) and it always winds up working out. So, go for it; be patient and persistent and you'll get there! Good luck.

This is not the NY spring break(at least ours)...so you never know, ask member services, they will advise you.

Thanks, they both work very hard and this is something special they wouldn't be able to do on their own. We also collaborated with the husband's mother who is picking up their plane tickets. I wish we could join them, but with DH starting a new job in December we don't know what his schedule will be yet.
