champagne on the beach?

hello all! spending NYE at the world and having dinner at OHana's. Was wondering if anybody knows if we can purchase (or take one ourselves) champagne and take it out to the beach at poly to watch the fireworks?
just trying to see if this is going to be too complicated or if i can arrange for a great new years eve!

Most resorts sell champaine. not the best, but I think you should be able to get a bottle. If you would like something better then maybe"cold duck" then Id bring my own.
I see no reason you could not do this.

The last time I checked the shop on the second floor of the Polynesian sold Ironhorse Fairytale champagne which is good. You'll pay more of course than you would if you were to pick it up at a liquor store.

We shared a bottle of Dom Perignon on the beach of the Polynesian as 12/31/99 became 1/1/2000. A special memory for us.

Are you staying at the Polynesian? At least that year security was very tight to make sure that only resort guests were allowed there.
