Has any one taken this excursion before? I would appreciate any feedback you might have? It is worth the extra cost? How's the snorkeling at Honeymoon Bay? Anyone like or dislike the buffet that was served? Anything to drink other than champagne? Thanks for your help!

I was also wondering how this excursion was and if it was appropriate for a 12 and 7 year old????

Thanks,
Dawn

It's a very nice excursion; unfortunately when we did it in December of 2001 we hit a HUGE storm on the way to St. John with driving rain and very heavy seas. Everyone was wet and cold and several people got seasick (not us). That definitely put a damper on the experience.

The food is good; it's a nice lunch spread. They have other things to drink other than champagne. I love champagne but they served ANDRE (yuk!) on our sailing and I stuck to water. The crew is great and St. John is pretty but even when it stopped raining it was a dreary day.

There were a few kids on the excursion and if they enjoy sailing and snorkeling they would enjoy it. Just hope for good weather. :) It's an EXPENSIVE excursion, though, so I'm not sure I would do it again, just for that reason.
