What makes a chair comfortable?
What kind of materials do you like your chairs made out of?

Um, I like when chairs have padding on the bottom area. LOL. I don't know how to describe. I like chairs made out of velour. Like, I would totally love a chair like this:

A chair that has a lot of cushion and really envelopes my body, ya know? Like you feel that you're part of the chair. I also like it nice and big so I can curl up with my feet up.

I love chairs that recline further then 90 degrees.


For example most of the time when you recline its like this ________/
but what I like is when you reclind and its like this -_/

What makes a chair comfortable? Nothing, I hate chairs, they make my *** hurt, so I sit on the floor, because it is much more comfortable.
What kind of materials do you like your chairs made out of? I sit on the floor all the time, so I'd say wood floors or carpets.

I like bean bags! It's fun to sit down and feel like being sucked into it.

When I sit on my sofa, I lay down and put my legs up on the arm, whilst twisted around to the left so i'm facing the TV...

I'd never do it at a strangers house, unless I really knew the person. Which wouldn't make them a stranger.......

Anyways, I'm also one of those peoples who ALWAYS has to have her feet up. Like even right now, in this computer chair. I'm sitting indian style in it.

That kind of what I was implying on my first post.

I can never understand how people can sit at their desks all day with their feel touching the floor..YUCK

I cannot stand it at all.
Even in school I sit in my chairs "criss-cross applesauce" whatever the heck applesauce means...

Any who, yeah I cant stand my feet hanging it feels really creepy.

Well, I am doing this project in my art class. I have to design a chair. My chair was sort of inspired by the Sleeping Beauty Castle, and I wanted to know what kind of materials would be comfortable to sit in that kind of chair.

suede is a nice material I love big, overstuffed, oversized chairs that I can curl up in and read a book. Soft leather is good as well (not hard leather, it's very uncomfortable). I like goose down filled seat cushions, but who doesn't? It also has to have a really high back, cause I get neck aches really easily.
