First off, if you decide to get married at SeaBreeze Point or a location other than the Wedding Pavillion, does Disney provide your guests with chairs or does it cost extra for an Escape wedding? Also, the package for the Escape wedding includes an annual pass for the bride and one for the groom. Are you able to use the discounts for the hotel rooms with the passes when you book your trip? We'll be staying for our honeymoon.

I don't think you get the annual passes with the escape weddings.

Yes, the new Escape wedding packages include the AP. I'm not sure about the booking discount, but someone else might be able to help on that. You could book using whatever discount you can find (AAA, etc.) and then update your reservation when you get your AP vouchers. At least I think you can do that. Hopefully someone else can give you more information on that.

And yes, when you are at another location Disney will set up some chairs. Usually it's just enough for your guests and maybe a few extra. However, they aren't exactly "fancy"...for our wedding (which was just DH and me) they had a couple of extra chairs set up. I want to say they were plastic and basically the same ones they have sitting at SBP anyway (just more of them). If you want "nicer" chairs, you can request them, but there will be an extra charge.

Book your rooms with an AP discount, even if you don't have it yet. AP-discounted rooms go fast. As long as you have the AP when you check in, you'll be OK. Whther or not it has to be an active AP seems to vary. Some people are able to check in with vouchers, some people are told to activate their APs first.

Also, Disney recently changed the policy so that an AP holder has to be staying in the room - they won't let you book up to three AP discounted rooms for others anymore...

Excellent Info! Do you know if you need to tell them anything other than you're an AP holder when you make the ressie? Like some sort of number or something? I've never done it, so I'm just wondering...

TIA

Nope, you just ask if there are any AP rates available! :thumbsup2 The Resorts Board usually keeps track of when these become available, as does Mousesavers.com.
