CG reservation question

I have a 9:30 CG reservation for a party of one. There were no other times available but I will keep looking. I'd prefer to eat earlier so what would happen if I showed up at 6:30 to see if I could eat at the bar? Would I be charged as a no show even if I tell the check in desk about my reservation? Has anyone tried this? The dining line had no clue.

I would just cancel the reservation and go early for the bar.

They do open the bar at 5:00, I don't know what your odds are of getting a seat at 6:30 but they do get people waiting for tables there, who then move.
