Hey Everyone!

My DH and I will be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary at Disney next month. I would love to spend one night watching fireworks from a restaurant, so here are my choices. I'd love your opinion.

Right now, I have reservations at two places, but I really would like to cancel one of them.

1. California Grill at 9:20 (MVMCP Holiday Fireworks are at 9:30)

2. Narcoossee's at 8:30 (Fireworks same as above.)

I've read some reviews that state that the deck outside of Narcoossee's is no longer private and that the view from inside is blocked by all the people. Although, we could always go outside on the deck.

That being said, I think the menu at Narcoossee's is slightly more appealing to us than CG, but both look nice.

What are your thoughts?

M :)

Same here. CG provides a much better view (and I personally like the cuisine better here also).

The view at Narcoossee's can be blocked depending on how many people and what size people go on the porch.

We did our anniversary dinner there last month. I timed it so we could see the fireworks. When checking in I asked for a window table so we could see. They were very quick to tell me that chances are the view from inside would be blocked but they would hold my meal and table while we went outside to watch.

Our main meal was ready right before the show started and opted to sit and eat. The meal was out of this world delicious!:woohoo: We could see some of the show from our table and when one person moved to let a small child in front of them, then we could see too!

We also did CG and instead of waiting for our table and chancing it might not be by a window, we took a table in the bar area and had our meal there. Our server, Javier, was fair but not great. We never did get our bottled water. The view from our table was nice and the food good but DH and I both agreed that our meal at Narcoossee's was THE MEAL of the trip!:cloud9:

Since you may have to outside to watch the show at either restaurant, and since the menu at Narcoossee's seems better, I'd keep that one. The view from the deck is just fine--in fact, it's where we almost always end up when eating at Narcoossee's. Everytime we've had a window table, too many folks outside. So we just join the crowd.

CG hands down! We've done both as well and Narcoossee's view can't compare to CG.

CG is a bit more crowded, but you should have no problem getting a good view on the balcony.
