Trying to decide which one. Have to choose between CG and HBD.

We can go to CG and watch Holiday Wishes or HBD. The problem is time in the parks. We have all day Sat and Sun in the parks. I will be solo Mon and Tues during the day and he will join me later around 6pm. I haven't decided if I will be solo in parks or lounge by the pool at the Swan (where we are staying). The only reason we were thinking about HBD is because of EMH in HS that night. I have not been to either one and he has been to CG before. We both love to eat and both menus look yummy. There is no Fantasmic that night. And we will see regular Wishes on Sat night with EMH.

My questions.

1.Will I regret it if I don't try CG?
2. Is one really better than another?
3. Guess I'm looking for input.
4. What time do they let people in for fireworks viewing? We have a 930 ADR at CG. I have read they will let you check in early and that Holiday Wishes is at 930pm.

Thanks

CG really is a special dining experience- the venue, service, food quality and WINE LIST are a cut above. Add Holiday Wishes to that and you can't miss. I would get there no later than 9:00 so that you can soak it all up (and maybe even get seated a bit early :thumbsup2).
HBD, sadly, is mediocre at best...

I agree. :thumbsup2

I like the food at both about the same; although I give the slight edge to Ca Grill because the sushi is quite good.

I do not feel heartbroken if I skip either one on a vacation; they certainly don't make my must do list.

Both places are super noisy and IMO, do not provide a good overall dining experience. I'm fine dining at them but I'm fine if I don't also.
