It looks to me Disney bumped the cabin incentive up a bit. For 150-199 points I thought it was $30 off per point, now looks to be $35. Haven’t had time to look at other resorts to see if any changes were made. Makes the cabins a bit more enticing…

They sure did... 🤔

Already emailed the guide to ask about next steps. Haven't completed closing process yet so I want my extra $5 a point!

Would you all consider this set of incentives with the extra $5 off to be comparable to the great deal of 2 years ago with VGF? I often read of people talking of the VGF sale in particular. What has the recent super deals been? I know it's hard to predict, But $166.66 sounds enticing and maybe will be looked back upon as the "deal" for CFW.

I would have to go back and check my paperwork but I am pretty sure VGF was $163 or so for 150 points then. This is pretty close to that!

The downside of course is the much higher dues at the cabins. VGF points have a lot of value because the dues are so low, in addition to getting booking priority at VGF of course. You'd have to be nuts to buy cabin points as sleep around points, but honestly in practice I mostly use my VGF points bought during that "firesale" as sleep around points.
