Between these two resorts I am looking for a standard room with a nice view. Does anyone know the exact room number they had and what bldg it was in? If you can show me a picture out your window? I know I want one of these two resorts and am trying to decide where to request. If you don't know exact room number, what seemed to be the best bldg?

The last time we were at POFQ we stayed in room 3116. It is ground level, about one block from the pools, and faces a beautiful fountain.

You really shouldn't ask for a particular room number. You are better off asking for bldg such and such, with a view of a quiet pool, or a view of the gardens. Each bldg has it's own great views. I thought I would like a river view, so paid for a preferred room in order to get one...not doing that again. Since you are inside the room, with no balcony or patio, the view really doesn't matter much. In fact, we usually keep the drapes closed since I hate watching people pass by my room, peeking in the windows.

For what it's worth, we were in room 1649 in AB at POR. It had a nice view of the lush landscaping. Here is a pic of the view from just outside our door.

It was a great room in a nice building. It was a short walk to the food court, the quiet pool was very close, and there was a shortcut through the parking lot to the main bus stop. We LOVED our stay at POR! Enjoy!

Totally agree with this. Being that we were in the parks almost 24/7, and when we wern't we were passed out, the view made little difference, plus I kept the curtains closed anyway due to people walking by. For what it's worth, we were in POR, room 8911...Magnolia Terrace, third floor...which was a standard view room. Our window was directly opposite a wall of a neighboring building, (imagine being in the interior corner of the H) but just a few steps to the left were the gardens. If you looked out the window to the left, you could see them past the railing.

Rather then starting another thread can anyone give me details on the arcade at PO:R? What's it called, is it large or small and does it have those prize redemption counters the value arcades have? Pictures would also be nice if anyone has any. The wife loves to indulge in this crazy stuff on vacation, last year she played at the Fast Forward Arcade at POP every night for the whole trip just to win a Tinkerbell lamp.

POFQ - Building 3, Floor 3, corner room - Excellent location for this resort!
