I was just wondering if I would be able to buy some of my own stuff to decorate the WP and Whitehall Room, as my floral/decor bill was a bit steep. I've cut back as much floral as I can, but wondering if I can provide some of my own? If so, I have a 10am ceremony, how can I/a nominated guest get inside to set up? Will Disney set up some of the stuff if I ask them to?

You'd have to designate someone to set up the items you bring to the weddin pavilion. I don't know if they'd let you in early. You can hire an outside florist for much less than Disney floral, many brides here have used reeputable companies.

I don't know if you can have Disney set things up for you, they may charge you an hourly fee to set up.

Disney will not set up anything you haven't bought/rented through them. Your designee should have no trouble getting into the Whitehall Room to set things up, though, since it will be open for Disney to set up your chairs, tables, etc.

Thanks for the replies both. I thought I read on here somewhere that Disney would set up 2-3 items on your tables that wasn't bought through Disney :confused3

It was my understanding that it applies to wedding favors that you brought. They set out 2 favors per setting at our reception and we weren't charged. We dropped the favors off at Franck's a few days before.

I wonder if you nominated a guest to set up some of your stuff at the reception how far in advance they could get in to do this. I would be worried about there not being enough time that they could set up and make the ceremony in plenty of time.

I think usually they just run over after the ceremony and before the reception, while the bride and groom are taking pictures. Which doesn't always work, depending on how far apart the two events are...

Yeah, it's favors, place cards—that kind of thing. Not centerpieces.

Sorry to hijack slightly...

How early can you get into the Wedding Pavilion to set up decor before the ceremony? We just have an altar arrangement and the sand ceremony stuff.

TIA!
