the brazilians on the bus should not have happened
the bus driver allowed two many on.
40 brazilians standing up.......
too many people they should have been told to wait not cram them in.
Until you've been there, and been in the situation don't judge.
I am very sorry your trip turned out so badly. I would be upset if I experienced rudeness, and we have a few times throughout all of our trips but for the most part CMs have treated us great.
I am not judging you, so don't get me wrong. However, Brazilians have as much right as anyone else to ride the buses. I do agree that it is rude to start cheering and yelling on a bus when others are riding. That being said, I don't think this was Disney's fault either.
As far as cramming people on the buses, they do this all the time when it is crowded and the parks are emptying out. Of course, no one really wants to be crammed into a crowded bus, but with the crowds at closing time, they have to do this or it would take forever to get everyone back to their resorts. Maybe they do need more buses and drivers, but that might also drive the prices up even more. However, I've also seen buses that could put more people on them, but don't even though there is a big crowd waiting because someone stops before they are at the back of the bus and refuses to go further. In the meantime, there are 200 people waiting for a bus. This happened when leaving the MK this past June when we were going back to our resort. It was about 10:30 and the park was open late for EMH until 2:00 I think. I've never seen lines so long for the buses before. This line filled up all of the rows and was all the way past the bus stop next to us when we got in line and it wasn't closing time yet. I think it was the 7th or 8th bus before we got on one. And one bus had 3 wheel chairs to load that took at least 20 minutes. Fortunately 2 more buses pulled up at the same time before they were done loading. It was also like this at Epcot a couple of nights later.
My point is, I think they need to be filling up the buses as much as possible when they have that many people waiting or it makes the wait that much longer for others to get on one when they don't. The new buses also have wider aisles, so they have more standing room (less seats, I believe than the older buses).
Please don't get me wrong. I am not criticizing you. Just trying to explain the way the buses operate. I can only imagine how crowds/noises might upset or traumatize your child, but it would be difficult for Disney to control the noise on their buses. This could happen even if they didn't have 40 Brazilians standing in the aisle. Anyone could be noisy whether they are sitting on a bus that's not full or standing crammed into a crowded bus. We were on a bus this past June that had a baby screaming at the top of his lungs the whole trip until we got to the park. Did it bother me? Sure. Did I think it was Disney's fault? No. I figure I had the choice to drive to the parks but did choose to use their transportation.
I would suggest as another poster said to go at a time that is not so crowded or if you can't, then you might consider driving to the parks.
Like others have said, I would address the items that Disney can control. I do think you have some valid complaints. I wrote a letter a few years back when we encountered rudeness and problems that took a lot of valuable time out of our trip. We did receive compensation (got 17 one-day park hoppers as we had 17 in our party). I did, however, give credit in my letter to those CMs who did an outstanding job and did give names.
Sorry this is so long. JMHO
Good luck and hope that the problems you encountered are addressed to your satisfaction.
