Central Pennsylvania Pin meet???

I havent been able to attend any of the pin meets in Philadelphia, Virginia, Baltimore etc. for a variety of reasons--so I said to myself--renee--Just plan one here in Harrisburg!! so--being the overly industrious person that I am--here I go. Is anyone interested in a Pin Meet in Harrisburg PA? for those of you who are geographically challenged--Harrisburg is about 90 miles west of Philadelphia, 75 miles due north of Baltimore and about a 2-2.5 hour jaunt from DC. I am thinking @ the Capital City Mall food Court (within spitting distance of one of our 2 local Disney Stores). Dates I am considering: Sunday February 10, Sunday February 17, Sunday February 24 or Sunday March 10. Anyone want to volunteer to help me organize it?

Depending on the dates, we may be able to drive up from Maryland.

I reviewed your date options and made some notes:

Sunday February 10 -- Day after Parkhopper's Pin Party in MD

Sunday February 17 -- Presidents' Weekend

Sunday February 24 -- Day after the February MK Pin Event (We won't be home yet)

Sunday March 10 -- My family's personal choice

Hope this all works out.

My vote would be for Sunday February 17. The next day is a Federal holiday, so may people will be off work. This makes it easier for people who have to travel long distances.

I have decided to put on hold the idea of a Central PA pin meet for several reasons, mainly date conflicts---1) Parkhoppers party which is fairly close by, 2) the holiday weekend where I now plan on dragging my DH skiing womewhere and 3) the March date we will now apparently be in OC Maryland for the weekend. I definintely want to put something together but it will have to wait until further in the year!!! I hope to see everyone at Parkhoppers party!!! Renee
