I am hoping someone out there can help me. I would like to book our April 08 package through AAA but I would like to get input as to which AAA office in Monmouth or Ocean County would be the best to use. Does anyone have a particular agent that is well versed in all things Disney? Thanks for any help!:wizard:

If you have any suggestions please PM them to dddisrunner. No need to post that you sent a PM.

Hi dddisrunner,

We have had very good service at the AAA office in West Long Branch over the years - located at the Consumer Center on RT#36. The agent we used last year for a ten person DCL cruise has since retired - perhaps helped by the commission on that booking? Anyway, all the people there have been good and very friendly. Phylis Edwards comes to mind. Good luck.

Greetings from central jersey!

After doing some legwork last year, I didn't find any great AAA agents who were as well versed on WDW as I was after spending time on these boards. This site is a wealth of knowledge, and I found everything I needed to know on these boards. So I just did everything myself. I reserved our room through CRO and they gave me the AAA discount - no need to go through AAA. We bought our tickets through undercovertourist.com and saved a few bucks that way. I guess the hitch is that we didn't want to use the DDP - we had a villa and had groceries delivered - just ate lunch at the parks.

Bottom line is that you don't have to use a AAA agent to get a AAA discount, and you may find that you know more than they do anyway!! :-)

Good luck!

Thanks! I would like to book a package as we will definitely use the DDP! Can you still get the discount on a package or just the room portion of the package? Thanks for your help!:thumbsup2

Bingo to what "wrighter" said. I have found out more info here then anywhere else. You can make all your arrangements yourself and let them know you have AAA and they will apply it to your ressie and then show them your card when you check in.
