Central Florida Parkway-- toll road?

I don't remember all the local Orlando toll roads--is this one a toll or not?

Does this road also go by any other name?

I don't know it by any other name, and I have never paid a toll on it.

Osceola Parkway runs straight into Disney, is nearby, and has one toll for $1.50. People often confuse the two.

The Florida's Turnpike runs diagonally from Rt. 75 near us down to SE Florida and it has tolls.

The Beeline Expressway (Rt 528) runs from Orlando to Port Canaveral and has tolls.

Rt. 417 runs from the south exit out of Orlando airport to Osceola Parkway and has at least one toll.

Rt. 429 running from The Florida's Turnpike towards Tampa and has one toll between the turnpike and the WDW exit.

Jumping in with a similar question. What is the highway between Orlando Airport and WDW -- I4? There's at least one toll that I remember from last time. Can someone tell me how much the toll(s) is/are? Exact change? We had all our money in the trunk of our rental last time and had to blow the toll. Don't want to do that again!

I4 is free. The toll road is 417. I don't know the amounts - I have the EZ Pass thingy.

I was looking at some online map directions (AAA) and it mentioned the Central Florida Parkway but did not say if that highway was toll or not.

Jumping in to say the closest road, right outside the airport. is the Beachline (formerly Beeline) Expressway. There are 2 or 3 tolls you go through before reaching I-4, which takes you to Disney.

Also, Florida toll roads don't subscribe to EZPass, which is found from Maine to at least Maryland. They have their own system, Sunpass I think. If you have EZPass like we do, it can't be used on the Florida toll roads so have your dollars and quarters ready.

I used my EZ-Pass from NJ to Baltimore. It was a beautiful thing!!

Definitely not. It's a $160 ticket.

I4 is free. The toll road is 417. I don't know the amounts - I have the EZ Pass thingy.

I honestly am not sure about the amount either, but I want to say it's a couple of bucks.


The thing about Florida toll roads - most of them have an attendant, but here and there you'll try to exit a road and find you need exact change. It's always a good idea when traveling around Florida to keep a handful of $1 bills and quarters in the car.

The Central Florida Parkway is a road that runs between I-4 and south OBT, it is not a toll road. (IMHO very misleading name for a road that neither a toll road not a highway of any sort.)

If you're going to WDW from Orlando Airport, the easiest and quickest is to take the south exit to 417, which runs into Osceola Parkway right into WDW.

Some of these roads are pretty new and haven't made it onto the maps yet. They have a fraction of the traffic that the Beeline and Rt. 4 do.

Central Florida Pkwy is the road that Sea World is on.
