We just got back from our PS at Disney. We had a blast! We already know that we've gone over budget, of course, so we're trying to think of ideas to keep the price down when it comes to our decor for the reception.

Are we allowed to bring our own vases in if we are having the reception at the AAR in Epcot?

We want tall vases but they are sooo expensive if you buy them through Disney. Would we just deliver them to Franck's a few days before?

Thanks for the help everyone!

We are having a kids party at AARP ans we are bringing our own...

Now Off Topic... Since you're back I'm sure your're going to update your PJ right? ;)

I was told by Diane Mahoney-Brown that all center pieces have to be set up by a memeber of your party if you are NOT purchasing them through Disney. For an Epcot ceremony you can only access your room 30 minutes before the reception or if you are doing a coctail hour they can be put up then. If Disney is filling the vases then maybe they will allow them to be dropped of. I'm not sure on that.. Hope this helps

:confused3 I had just asked about decor at my dessert party and was told it had to be provided by Disney...so I'm confused....

I was also told that if you provide it, you are responsible for setting it up.

It's so confusing!! LOL....I don't know if it's different for Escape and Wishes brides, but we're Escape and we're providing the placecards, placecard holders and votive candles for our dinner reception and they are setting them up (for a small fee). We're also bringing personalized napkins for the DP and they are putting those out as well....

those types of items I believe is no problem setting up. I think its just when it comes to centerpieces they want someone else to set them up.
