Centerpiece Idea Thread

I don't have a picture yet....but we have decided to name each table after a flower instead of numbering them. We are going to have a short vase filled with the flowers to match the name of the table. On either side we are going to have a candle. We are going to use seed packets to "number" the tables. So every table will have a different flower on it. Then on the sweetheart table and the table where the guest book will sit will have a vase with all the different flowers in it. We are going to tie navy ribbons around the vases and use navy rocks/marbles in the bottom of the vases to tie in our color scheme.

Thanks to everyone for sharing.

We have some great pics and great ideas here! Thank you all for sharing. The feathers arw breathtaking!

We're looking at something like this for our centerpieces as we're having a combined Cinderella/Fall theme. We'd want them a bit less neat though, with flowers cascading over the sides.

Tammy--If you don't mind me asking, were the ostrich feathers expensive? I was just wondering if they were better or worse in price compared to floral centerpieces. They are gorgeous!

Hi! I was thinking about maybe doing white pumpkins with a floral arrangement around them. Kind of a play on the pumpkin coach thing. I wish I could find a picture of what I'm thinking. Do ya'll think Disney floral could do something like that? When you go for your planning session do they have a book of centerpieces for you to look through?

Yes they do...actually Franck's is set up with tons of examples (fake floral but they will use real) of centerpieces, guest books, unity candles- you name it!

haha here is a pic of Franck's to give you an idea of what I am talking about:

There are alot of other tables set up as well, and books to look through.

These were from a convention I went to at the Ritz carlton in Naples, FL. They had 2 different dinner affairs and they were both lovely!

In the end we are going with a tall galss vase filled with glass ice. It will be topped with greeen hydrangea, roses, limes amd some other pink floral.
Around the base will be three different sized glass cylanders each filled with a different shade of pink petals, water and a floating candles.

In about 4 months i will be able to post a pic:goodvibes

Beautiful centerpieces! My favorite is the one with the limes in the vase! :thumbsup2 I had fruit and veggies in my centerpieces...I just really like it when florists use something unexpected in arrangements. :cutie:

I agree moonpie..I love your centerpieces! I love when the seasons are incoporated. Since we are in June I thought citrus would be great and fresh. My floral planner was excited to used limes. I guess some brides are intimidated to try new things but I say hey go for it. That is what makes a wedding "yours"!

Did anyone get any good "Mickey" centerpiece ideas from Disney floral? I'm trying not to spend too much on decor - and am doing sort of a Mickey theme - not too over the top, but subtle, elegant(?) Mickey's - is that possible? LOL :rotfl:

Well if we are posting again I'll join in....
(love all the different ideas by the way)

I am happy that everyone is reposting their centerpieces. I am newer to this board and haven't seen them before, so thanks!! :cutie:

Disprincessatheart, the centerpiece came from Disney Floral. It was rented and they also had calla lilies match my bouquet in the middle of it. We only had one since there was only 11 of us at dinner. We all wanted to keep it but our waiter took it and laughed about us trying to "bribe" him to forget about it!

This is absolutely beautiful. Was this all done by Disney Florist or an outside vendor? Did they have other color options? Is the vase glowing?
