Hi,
Am going to DLP in Oct and staying off-site, so I'll be buying an annual pass for myself. My sister who's also going is also getting one. We are going without our kids on this trip. (don't shoot us!)

Anyway, it seems CEM is the cheapest way to buy annual passes? Is it cheaper than getting sponsored ones or buying shares and using the discount?

As I am rubbish at french can someone please explain exactly how it works, what we get and how we go about it?

Is there an english speaking contact at CEM that I could correspond with on email to get it all sorted?

Thanks so much, DLP experts!!

Just done this a few weeks ago .i speak no french but used google translate
You first have to join and pay your€20 they will then send you a password so you can log into the site and buy the passes i ordered on a wed and they arrived the next tuesday you have to pay €6.90 postage (if i can be any help pm me) ,but alice at ce is very nice if you email her

Just to throw a spanner in the works, for families like us who buy APs continuously, would it be cheaper to buy through CEM or does getting 18 months for the next pass when bought when the old one runs out through DLP make that the more interesting offer?

Depends on what you pay..for us it was better to extend our AP rather than buy from a discount site

- Our Fantasy AP was 139€ so / by 18 = 7.72€ per month

- Via CEM would be 119€ so / by 12 = 9.91€ per month

And we don't have the joining fees to add on as OH has a CE code through work

When they run out in Nov it's still cheaper to renew for 18 months even though they are now at 159€ as it will be only 8.33€ per month

Hth :goodvibes

Ok, cool. What is the deal with a free child's pass.. does the child have to be with you when you get your own done up in the park?

You can get a free childs AP when you buy an adult AP from CEM and Promoparcs

The child has to be under the age of 7 and over the age of 3

You can't get a permananent AP made out for an absent person (adult or child) they have to be there with their passport as Disney takes the photo for the AP and all.

Sorry, ,another one - how come you got it for 18mths?

When you renew your AP on site you get an extra 6 months free added on to the standard 12 month pass.

It has to be renewed during the month before it expires normally to get the extra 6 months so you'd plan your visit at this time :thumbsup2

Oh right. So it seems I just get myself one in this trip, then next year go within a month of it expiring, sponsor my son (over 7) to get one while we're there and previously buy one from cem for my husband and get the free one for my daughter (under 7). I get 18 mths added on to mine and they are all sorted for 12. Clear as mud! :-D

:rotfl:

Though I think you would be better off getting one also for your son from CEM as you only get 10% off an AP when you sponsor someone so it wouldn't be cheaper doing it like that ;)

But I only get a free year if I sponsor someone, no?

Ok, for the moment I only have to buy one for myself and worry about the rest of it next year.

Thanks!!

You have to sponsor 3 people to get a free 12 month AP and if you do that it's only 12 months not 18 you get.

The two offers can't be combined unfortunately
