He was 89. So many memories from the glory years of the Boston Celtics. He was always there even after he left as the coach.

We'll miss you Red. :guilty:
 
I'm watching the local news now and they're showing clips of his life and his incredible career.

They're also showing clips of Bill Russel, Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, the Chief, etc. Amazing what this man did for the Celtics and for Boston. He will be missed, what a legend.

I remember my first game at the Garden and actually seeing these guys play. My father knew one of the security guards at the time and we were able to get down by the floor and watch the players warming up, awesome!

RIP Red....and thanks for everything you did!

I think I'll make my way down to Fanueil Hall in the next day or two just to sit on the bench. I don't think I'll be alone.
