i have the pink sliver dint get it. i think it sucks. i hate it sooo much. but i cant wait on june 29th the iphone comes out and i might get that, or a sidekick 3.

I hvae a Krazr as well, but I would hafta disagree, I got pushed and mine fell on tile and shattered the whole front screen. I love my krazr, it works fine, but the front continues to crack now, one drop was all it took to break.

That is weird because mine has pretty much been thrown around even stepped on and has not scratched at all.

I have a Pink Chocolate. It plays music clearly and its really cool. Maybe you don't have Verizon? If not, how about a KRZR? I think those are for all companies. Its like a more shiny version of a RAZR, longer, not as wide, but just a little thicker.

You have to have itunes to get practically any use of the mp3 function of it. 8 GB nonexpandable memory. Entire look of the iphone is based 100% off of the LG Prada. Built in battery. Does not have 3G support or Flash. Camera can't record video. No 3rd party support besides being built into Safari. Only aviable through one provider.

The more intelligent question is, why do you think the iphone is good when there is nothing to base it off of?

Samsung Synch has a great MP3 player built in. Works wonderfully. Its not the same OS X as in there PC's. Tons of smartphones use Windows OS. itunes is a horrible program and its the fact Apple doesn't let you have one thing they try to lock you into all things Apple when you get something by them. I'm sure the Synch does play mp3's well, but how's its battery life while playing mp3's? and how is the interface to play them?

The core of OS X is there though, you don't need the entire operating system that the Macs use.

I hate Windows Mobile OS, it's clunky.

Windows will be trying something like this, with their Zune.

I did read, but creating a candybar style phone with a touchscreen isn't what I would call copying. And frankly I care more about how the software works, which is what that link provides.

8 GB nonexpandable = enough memory for me. I really don't feel like messing with microSD cards or regular size SD cards if applicable.

There are so many WiFi hotspots now that I don't really need 3G.

Flash will probably end up coming down the road, heck they're probably working on it now.

I could careless about video recording, but it wouldn't be that hard to implement.

Most new phones are only available through one provider at first, for example the RAZR was only available through one provider when it first came out. Plus you will probably be able to buy an unlocked one and slip in a sim card from another provider.
