Cell Phones at CBR Resort

We have T-Mobile and was wondering if it works at CBR. We could not get service in 2003 when we went to Disney World and stayed at CBR. If anyone has used T-Mobile recently at Disney World and CBR, I would love to hear from you. Thanks - we leave June 22nd thru June 30th.

Linda, I can't answer your TMobile question since we have Verizon and had no problems, but I'm sure someone will be by soon to help!!!

we have t-mobile and it worked like a charm all over Disney and the resorts. The only problem we ran across was in our room at CBR. We were in a courtyard bottom floor in Martinique(sp?) sometimes the phone would cut out but we would just open the door walk out into the beautiful courtyard sit on one of the benches and talk. Oh memories! Mimimom

We use T-Mobile and all was working fine for the most part last year when we went (March 2004). We also stayed at the CBR. I did not get much of a signal in the actual room, but it was fine outside. Also, I was doing laundry one afternoon (while the rest of the family enjoyed the pool of course), and did not get a great signal in the laundry room itself - but again outside of the laundry building it was fine. We always brought them to the parks (DH and I), NOT to talk to anyone in particular - afterall we were on vacation - but it was great to have if we lost sight of one another and could just call and find the other.

I think the room problem must be with most phones. I have Cingular and it worked everywhere but in our room at CBR. One step outside the door and it worked fine.

I had T-Mobile last year in October, and their previous company, Aerial in 2001. Both times it worked in most places, but never in a hotel room. It didn't work anywhere inside the hotel. We had Verizon in 2003 and that did work in our room. We are back to Verizon now, so we'll see where it decides to work in October.

We were at CBR (Trinidad North Building 32 first floor) in October and have ATT/Cingular (they were in the midst of the merger) and we had no problems whatsoever, even in the room.

I know it is not T-Mobile, but maybe the network has been upgraded so you get a better signal now?

We were 'waterfront' in Martinique building 25 ground floor in March. Our T-Mobile phone did not work in the room, however a couple of steps out of the room and reception was great.
