Cell phones and cell service providers

I'm having problems with cingular and the phones they keep sending me. My phone got damaged and since I have insurance, they sent me another phone. Well, I didn't like that phone and they sent me another one. I like this one even less. I'm tired of dealing with it.

Anyway, before I do anything drastic, what kind of phone services do you have, and do you like them?

Also, what kinds of cell phones do you have and do you like them?

If you have insurance you should get the same kind of phone you originally had??? you may want to ask them on that.

I've been with Sprint for about 3 years now, no complaints. I have one of the Samsung camera phones, which I've also had for three years. I've dropped it numerous times, but it still works great.

I also used to sell cell phones when I worked at Radio Shack. We had Sprint and Verizon, both were very reliable, but I'd steer you toward Verizon if you live in any semblance of a rural area...Sprint does not work well outside of major cities and off major interstates. Or at least it didn't before, but I'm sure they've improved since I quit that job.

I did ask them about that, twice now. The first time they sent me a motorola and it's ok, but doesn't work right. Now I just received a Siemens and it's not user friendly at all.

I had 2 siemens before this sony z500a...I want my siemens back!!!! I love those phones.

Sorry you are having trouble with them.

Nextel coverage is like all it's hit or miss Ask the people in your area about coverage issues I'm sure they'll let you know real quick.

I've got a nextel i730 and haven't had any major problems with it. There was a period when I was getting no signal and constantly dropped calls, I took it in, and they replaced one of the boards for me. (I've got the insurance and the service plan, so there was no cost to fix this problem) After repair, it worked fine.

I have posted this several times but since I have nothing good to say about Cingular I will repeat myself! Last January I switched from Sprint ( which I had no problems with to Cingular) 2 months into the contract I was still having major problems, I had the phone replaced and spent hours on the phone and in emails.........Cingular kept telling me it was the phone, I could not get or recieve a call if my life depended on it! And I live in a large city! Their Customer service is very rude and condesending, if you are lucky enough to get someone who understands and speaks English that is! I told them that their "bars" were not in any of my "right" places and I needed a phone I could depend on.........oh well to bad, you are out of the trial period. Needless to say it cost me over $200.00 to dump them and go back to Sprint!! Sprint works very well in my area as does T mobile, but it is best if you talk to people in your area to find out what works best there..........but NEVER NEVER will I go back to Cingular! You can also check out www.planetfeedback.com and get some reviews on phone services and also lots of other things, I wish I would have done it myself!!
