Please share your experience with cell phone reception in both parks for AT&T and Sprint.
Wondering how strong the signal is for each.

Thanks

Decent, especially in the outdoor areas.

But many rides use large concrete/steel structures, and even go underground, and in those areas, the signal is poor.

So be prepared to use text/voice mail on occasion.

I have AT&T and never have any issues on property! The only time I have trouble is when I try to use the WiFi at the resort hotels! Talk about bad! I just use my data!!

I have T mobile and my data connection is hit or miss depending on the location. I can make calls and send/receive texts in most places without issue.

We've had AT&T for years. As others have noted above, service is fine anywhere outside. You may have limited reception deep inside some of the attractions buildings simply because of the surrounding structure, which is true for any of the carriers.

Since ATT is an official sponsor it should have great service. I have used US Cellular, StraighTalk & Verizion with no issues.

I have AT&T and the phone reception is usually okay (so texting and calling was okay) in the parks, but the data can be very iffy. During high crowd periods/locations (e.g., waiting for fireworks), I've had times when my phone could not connect to anything that needed cellular data.

How many time have I been on the phone while on Pirates and I got disconnected!!! Nothing annoying as being cutoff while riding a great attraction....ok, just kidding.

But there's been some times when I wish the guy behind me didn't have cell reception on Pirates and IASW. And even Splash Mt!!!

I have Verizon and the only time I have problems is in line for Indy and Soarin.

Theres a couple of factors at play...

- Amount of buildings...
- Amount of people...

Admittedly could be better, but theres also saturation of the wireless networks around Dinsney. Everyone is on them.

I have AT&T and my two of my grandkids have Sprint.
I know we all won't stick together the whole time and I want to be able to text each other to re-connect.

An update (I have AT&T)...when the crowds were really concentrated, I had a lot of trouble with the data network. On Saturday evening, while waiting for the fireworks at Jolly Holiday, I could not do anything that needed a data connection (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, etc.). I was able to get text messages without any problems (didn't try calling). Once the fireworks ended and the crowds thinned out, I was able to use things that needed data. So, just something to keep in mind for busy times/locations.
