my phone died in august, right when I was due to re-up my contract with verizon wireless (ahh, the timing). I bought a new phone and re-upped, but did this at costco instead of at a verizon wireless store.
now my battery is fried. no idea why, my phone just stopped working. dh took the battery out and said something about seeing red x's there, not a good sign, blah blah blah.
I would assume this is all still under warrantee, since its only been a few months. the question is, do I go back to costco, or can I go to the local verizon wireless store.
does anyone have any insight?
thanks!

. Our local Verizon store has the absolute worst c.s. reps working there, and so I didn't totally believe them when they said, "Buy from us or don't bother bringing your Verizon phone back in here in the future". However, when I called Verizon direct, the c.s. rep (who was EXCELLENT) told me that, yes, phones bought from them online go back to them to get fixed, ones bought from a store go there. So I do think that yours has to go back to Costco.
