Cell phone holder for teens

Anyone have great advice for a teens cell phone? DD13 will carry a cross body bag but I'm nervous about DS15.

That's my suggestion. I don't think I've ever seen anyone younger than 60 use a cell phone holder - people just put them in their pockets.

Nice try, kid always wears athletic shorts, and they usually don't even have pockets! I can force him to wear cargo shorts, but was hoping for a better idea.

I say pockets too. My DS16 won't even buy athletic shorts (or any shorts) unless they have pockets. Most of them do. We have rarely run across shorts without pockets. If his don't have any - then go and pick up a few pair before the trip. Cargo shorts are best and I usually have DS wear them on vacations just because they look better in pictures..

My husband has tons of athletic shorts and they all have pockets.

I'm in the 'cargo shorts or leave it at home' camp Maybe his sister would carry it for him?

If he's wearing athletic shorts I'm not sure a phone holder would clip to the waist.

Would he carry a small drawstring back pack? Maybe with his phone in a case and a bottle of water or a hat in it too?

I also would put it in a ziploc bag too, so it stays dry on the wet rides.

He's 15 - I would tell him to figure it out himself. If he doesn't want to wear shorts with pockets, he'll have to carry it, bring a bag, or not take it.
