I have AT&T and I was wondering how good the coverage is in Disney World? If I do get accepted to the CP, my phone is my lifeline. Will I have to switch carriers? What carrier is more dominate in WDW?

I don't know about AT&T, but Verizon has lots of service in WDW. My dad has AT&T and I didn't have a problem connecting with him when we both were down there.

I use AT&T, and I can't recall any service problems while in WDW over the last couple of years. From what I remember, I've received pretty good signal in most areas of the World. And I know what you mean, my cell phone is often the only way to reach me at all!

I have AT&T- iPhone 3g and the service is great- haven't had any problems

You'll be fine with AT&T... if you had verizon, it's possible to pick up a signal in the tunnels, but that's about the only difference.

I have AT&T and worked in all the parks and never had an issue trying to use it.

Sprint Nextel Corporation is the official wireless provider for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, and has the most extensive coverage of any carrier. They even have, from my experience, pretty strong coverage in the Utilidors underneath Magic Kingdom Park.

At the same time, all major carriers have more than sufficient coverage throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. Even if you're with AT&T, you won't need to switch.

Thanks a TON!!! I saw a post somewhere that they had to get a new phone for thier CP. I love my iPhone and I dont want to leave it. lol I can relax now!! :-D

Anyone use T-mobile in that area? According to the "Coverage Map" it should work...but you never know with those things.

Anyone have Virgin Mobile? I have it here up in MA and its amazing, but not sure about FL.

As a Sprint Nextel costumer, I am very glad to hear this.

T-Mobile and ATT are both GSM providers and use each others networks so in theory they should have pretty much the same coverage however with that said "In Theory"

I know at Animal Kingdom backstage it is horrible for service however in general I would have to say T-Mobile has pretty good coverage
