Cell lot

the cell lot at mco. Is there a charge to use it. I’m assuming its free

There are two cell phone lots. Both are free for entry. The north cell phone lot is off Jeff Fuqua Blvd on the Cargo Road. The 200-spot cell parking lot has free Wi-Fi, electronic flight-information monitors, restrooms, water fountains, landscaping and a fenced-in lot to walk the dog.

The southern lot is on Jeff Fuqua. I haven’t been there, but I hear it’s not as fancy.

Lazy folks just stop on the shoulder on the roads approaching the terminal and that makes for a real PITA .....

last time I used the south lot, the old cell lot was gone due to construction so now you enter the regular long term parking and take a ticket .... there is a sectioned off area for cell phone folk just inside the entr' and they grant a 2 hour freebee on the ticket you pulled when you exit. There were some temporary restrooms set up.

Agree. Every time I go to the airport I see people stopped there. Dangerous.

The new south cell lot does not require getting a ticket to enter, but it's pretty basic. It's in front of the new C terminal. I prefer the north lot as it's closer to the A & B terminals and there is a rest room there.

What @DVC-Don said! Even though I use 417 to get to the airport I always go up to the north cell phone lot when I have to make pick ups. Much quicker to get to the terminals after the "I'm here" call.

Interesting...I always use the south lot! Never though of using the north lot.

I haven't flown forever, and had no idea what a cell lot was. I learn all kinds of interesting things on the DIS boards!
