This summer, my family and my DBF are traveling to WDW together! I'm very excited for this trip!!!

My mom is a celiac and has been for years. Disney dining has been very good to us over the last couple of years as far as my mom is concerned. This trip, my DBF and I want to take my family to Hoop Dee Doo Review (we saw it in December, my first time and I LOVED it!) and I was wondering if anybody with celiac has ever gone to HDDR? What do they serve?

Also, we're thinking about doing O'Hanas (spelling...its getting late!). I wasn't sure what food is good there for celiacs.

If anybody has any info I would really appreciate it!

Thanks! :)

I always read threads related to celiac because my mom has celiac. I know people have posted about O'hanas and HDDR. If I remember, O'hanas (dinner) didn't get good reviews for people with celiac and HDDR made special chicken for someone. Try allearsnet.com under the dining section. Look in the left column for "special dietary needs" section. We leave next week and are taking my mom. We are eating at LTT dinner, 50's, Plaza, and Akerhus breakfast.

Thank you for the information! I really appreciate it. We actually had dinner last year at 50's and LTT and they are on our list for this year too!

Thank you!!!!!!!

We ate at HDDR 2 yrs ago with our dd who was thought to have celiac at the time. We told them this when we made the ressie and again when we arrived. They did make her special chicken and let us know what she could eat from the table, although I can't remember what it was that she could eat. The only prob we had was reminding the waitress a couple of times to bring her special food and dessert. I also had a special dessert as I am allergic to strawberries. Of course, it was just the waitress. I noticed she was not on par with the rest of the wait staff. I have found that the waitress makes a world of difference. My dd did get her special food and she had no problems with it.

I am sure that they will make any accomodations that you need. BTW, it is brought out on its own plate so that there is no cross contamination. I think it was covered as well, but not 100%.

We ate at 7 different sit down places that trip and had not a problem at one. I feel that WDW is the best place to go when one has food allergies. They are great.
