Does anyone have experience with the food and wine festival and gluten free choices? Is information available about the contents of the foods?

My DW and I have done the F&WF several times but at all the food and wine pairings we've attended, we never saw any info regarding gluten free choices. The same lack of info for all the little booths that serve food and beverages from various countries. Maybe the info is available if you ask for it, but I just don't know. Sorry not to be of more help.

There is a cookbook avaliable at the -- oh gosh what is it called--- an information booth area--- you can use it to check ingrediants.

I do know that they have added a safe brownie to all the parks, in at least one location. Also I would call Disney Dining and ask, they should be able to get you a phone number where you can ask.

I sent and email to WDW Food Services to ask- and was basically told that the carts and World Showcase Resturants are difficult to determine for sure if anything will be safe allergy-wise- food ingredients can come from different locations.

I am allergic to wheat and was planning on trying to eat off the carts for F&W festival- if it is too unclear- not enough info at the site- or no one who can look at my glutton free resturant cards (you can get these for a variety of cuisines and they come in the language of origin of the cuisine as well as English)- then I will just head over to America and eat the glutton free alternatives they have there- which includes pizza and more.

You can get lots of information for TS and CS resturants from the food services department... I sent an email to Brenda Bennett [Brenda.Bennett@disney.com] MAGIC KINGDOM Foods- and basically listed places for my ADRs and asked about the counter service resturants- I got back several attachments of information about available products for my diet

But they also stressed the problem of the World Showcase resturants and carts- and although most of the resturants you'd probably be able to contact a chef there- the carts you do not always have the information- and because they aren't all "Disney" owned- their product sources can change for time to time...

Best to ask- and go where it is safe if you are not sure.
