Celebs who have/have not aged well

Aging well: Jamie Leigh Curtis and Karen Allen (because neither has had plastic surgery)
Not aging well: Bill Pullman

Only my opinion but JLC looks terrible. She could at least color her hair. The other two I have never heard of.

I think it's interesting that women are held to a different standard than men. Sean Connery is aging nicely with grey hair. But Jamie Lee Curtis should dye her hair.

Well, for me as a male it is a huge turn off to see a woman with gray hair. But it seems many women are attracted to a graying man. It's one of those unfair things but just is.

I totally agree. I think women look simply old with gray hair. It ages them by at least 10 years on absolutely every single person. To me, it screams out, "I don't care how I look anymore." I know this isn't a popular opinion, but I stand firm.

I love a man with salt and pepper hair. Incredibly sexy to me.

Not well: Courtney Cox

They used to look the same age, now Courtney looks at least 10 years older.

Courtney Cox is 49, Jennifer Aniston probably 42. A lot changes between 42 and 49. I still think both women are gorgeous and both seem to be free for the most part of plastic surgery.

Nicole Kidman is one who really ruined her looks with all that botox. She was such a beauty in her youth. I'm sure had she layed of all the cosmetic "enhancements" she would still be beautiful, just older. She actually isn't even that old. It's a shame that actors and actresses have to do these procedures to remain relevant.

Diane Keaton looks amazing by the way. She has amazing genetics I guess. Either that or a really good plastic surgeon! Same with Susan Lucci.

I also have to ask with which measuring stick are we using to say Brad Pitt has not aged well? He is not my favorite actor but the man looks good for 50!

Some of the others on this list shock me too. Alec Baldwin no longer pretty? He's mid 50s. He looks better than any mid 50s man I know. Granted he is an actor and found fame for his looks, and he did have a period where he got fat, but since he lost the weight I think he looks fantastic.

I've seen Jennifer Aniston close up and I do not agree that she has aged well. Years of smoking and tanning have taken their toll.

I agree with this...When I saw her interviewed at the Oscars, I was surprised how much older she looked. She looked much different than the airbrushed pictures in the magazines. She looked every bit her age. She still looked good, but definitely older.

And I wanted to add...something about Courtney Cox looks off. Maybe she is too thin?? That tend to makes a face look older after 40.

Karen Allen = Marion Ravenwood-Jones (Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones/Crystal Skull).
Bill Pullman = President Whitmore (Independence Day), Lone Star (Spaceballs).

Both have been in a lot more movies, and guest-starred on some tv shows.

I agree with you. I think that Brad Pitt gets a lot of hate for his scruffy look and for who he has a relationship with. He looked pretty darn good in the baseball movie he made.

As for Alec Baldwin, he does look good for his age. I never thought that he was particularly pretty to begin with though.

I think CC looks great considering her age and the fact she was never the natural beauty Anniston was/is.

I don't know how "natural" Aniston's beauty is...didn't she have significant plastic surgery at the beginning of her career?

She definitely had a rhinoplasty. I agree that she's no beauty. If she wasn't famous, I doubt she'd get a second look.

It seems that a lot of the not aging well list has had bad plastic surgery. You'd think with their money, they could find a decent surgeon. Our town and the neighboring town are small and I can think of 3 plastic surgeons in the area who would have done much better work.

I agree that Susan Lucci is beautiful. It is just sad that so many of the ones mentioned have had so much plastic surgery done in order to keep up those appearances. I'm fine with getting a little work here and there. Sometimes, though, I think it takes over the person.

For God sakes, Kenny Rogers even had what appears to be a total face-lift!

I think Jan Seymour has aged gracefully. I don't think she has had any work done, but I could be wrong.
