I might, if we were situated in a way that was conducive to conversation. I wouldn't go racing across the road to accost someone though.
I've met many music industry celebs over the years though working backstage locally. They are all just people and would like to be treated normally for the most part. Paul Brandt bought us pie.![]()
I LOVE Paul Brandt. Apparently he's an amazingly kind person. Extremely friendly and personable. Very Canadian![]()
He had fought & won the night before in a UFC in Anaheim. We just ate & creeped I worked at Blue Ribbon Bakery when it was still huge. I was backstage unloading a delivery of frozen yogurt boxes into the walk-in fridge. I had my super long skirt pulled up between my legs and tucked into the waist just like I was trained to do to avoid tripping and falling on the moist fridge floor. I stacked up some boxes then walk to the door that was required to be left open to grab some more boxes. Standing there watching me was Dolly Parton. I froze in my tracks, all sweaty, and blushed. She said, "Darlin', they got you workin' too hard! And what's with the get-up?" while she pointed to my skirt. I told her and she said, "It's a damn good thing I don't work here. I'm clumsy and I'm top heavy!" Everyone laughed and she gave me a hug even though I warned her I was sweaty. She was the most petite woman I have ever seen and she was a genuine sweetheart. That was my most fav moment while working there.![]()
OK, very lame celebrity story here:
I'm pretty sure I saw a celebrity last week but have no idea who it was. He was strikingly good-looking (like in a way we don't see in WI), with a beautiful woman and their children coming out of the subs. They were with a plaid. It didn't struck me until later that he might have been a celebrity. He had on a cap and sunglasses so I suspected he was trying to be somewhat incognito. Just my luck that I couldn't even get a good story out of my only celebrity sighting!

I am so out of the world of celebs that I probably wouldn't recognize them if they walked up to me and said hi.![]()

I did whisper to one friend and pointed him out, but we didn't want to make a big deal in case he was trying to keep a low profile with his female companion (girlfriend maybe?).Ditto they are just like everyday people to me.

I've heard she's wonderful in person.I kept seeing Richard Kind last June. First with a plaid and later not. As often as I saw him I decided he must be stalking me.![]()
