We were in DisneyQuest yesterday and we spotted "Baby Face" his lady, and three or four charming children. Looked as if his two may have brought along park pals.

My girlfriend was all excited as she stood less than a foot from him and and making eye contact with her gave her a wave. I thought she might just melt right were we stood.

I had a digital camera with me, but as much as I wanted the photo I didn't want to invade his privacy.

Hello- first time poster. Love the DIS boards! Anyway, I digress... In 1997, DH, a friend and I were at MGM and saw John Davidson (of Hollywood Squares fame). He was the Celebrity of the week, or whatever the program was at the time. The funny thing about it was that our friend had a running joke with her family that she had never seen anyone famous, and that, given her luck, probably the best she could ever hope for was someone "lame like John Davidson"! She just about died laughing and couldn't wait to tell her mom and dad that she had now achieved the best "celebrity" sighting she could ever hope to. Sorry,John!

When my DH Aunt, Uncle and 2 cousins were in WDW awhile back (like 8-9 years ago maybe more) they went to Cindy's (I think) for breakfast. Well we are from Maryland so the Baltimore O's are our team. The CM came to the table and asked the 2 boys who they wanted their picture with and they both pointed across the room to a man with his family and said "HIM". Well their parents were a little floored they would say something like that, until they turned around and there sat Cal Ripkin with his wife and children. He was VERY gracious and gave up his time to take a few shots with the boys. They said it seemed like no one else in the restaurant even knew who he was. This was one of the high points of their trip.

When we were at WDW the year it opened, my DM saw Pat Boone and his daughters.

She was thrilled and even took pictures of them on the sly. I believe she still has them.

Didn't do much for me, but she was excited!

Don't know if this counts, but we saw "Dr. J" (Julius Erving) in the airport (MCO) coming home from our Disney trip in Oct. 97...

We saw Robert Urich with his wife sitting in row in front of us at CBJ. She was one of the Von Trapp girls in The Sound Of Music. That was in Dec 2000 and sadly he passed 2 yrs later.

I saw Dan Tyminski at Pecos Bills. He is a member of the Allison Krauss band. I think he won a big award for singing a popular song form O Brother Where Art Thou?

And not completely sure but I think the singer from the Christian rock group Third Day was at a recent Braves Yankees ballgame sitting in front of us. This was at WWOS. If anyone can confirm seeing him there please let me know. Found out a few days later that Tiger Woods was at this same game cheering on his buddy John Smoltz of the Braves. Didnt see him though.

Saw Alisha Rashad at CP. And Ben Vereen and Yolanda Adams doing CP. Do those count?

Oh and how could I forget. This may not totally count, but I went to WDW on a senior class trip in hs a few years ago. We were getting ready to get on the plane in NY, and were standing around the gate when they began boarding first class, and there was Joan Rivers. A couple people stopped her for pictures when we walked by her on the plane, I was just too shocked at the difference between her television appearance and how she looks in real life.

The same goes for her daughter, she has red-ish hair and freckles when not made-up. They must really cake the make-up on in the studios. I bet Joan really looks a little on the scary side, she ain't no spring chicken you know.

I almost wish I did take a picture. She of course had make up on, but I guess not nearly as much as she does on tv. It was quite a scary site to be honest.

My son's gf is working at MGM on the college intern program and she called me tonight to say she was eating a Mickey Bar. Ok, big deal. She said you'll never guess who bought it. Michael Jackson. She said he and his children and brother Tito were at Fantasmic tonight. Jackson bought all of the CMs a snack.

Last week, she called to say that VP Cheney had been to Fantasmic that night.

A couple of days ago Steven Tyler (Aerosmith) was there and he ate dinner with some of the CMs.

That girl is having too much fun! But she is also working 60 hours a week now in this busy season.

I wish I would have been there to see Tyler... Aerosmith had an Orlando Concert on Monday. Sounds like the job has it's perks!
