Celebrity Sighting today!

(Sorry - I have a naughty sense of humor anyway.) Winter outfits!:rotfl: That gave me a good laugh! Cinderella will be putting on those long sleeved-jackets faster than you can say BOO with Ron lurking on the premises!! Heck, Pooh may even put on his own 'winter outfit' when he sees who is waiting in line to meet him!

That line about Pooh was great! :lmao:

I have a Flair on Facebook that says "he who laughs last thinks slowest, he who laughs first has the dirtiest mind".

If Pooh's winter outfit includes pants, I'm sure he likes to have it on so that Ron doesn't get any questionable ideas to incorporate living stuffed animals into his "art.":rolleyes1

I was tempted to ask who that guy was that you are all discussing, :confused3 but after reading some of these posts, I think I figured it out. (Ewwww.) :scared1:

But anyway, we once saw Criss Angel, my DD was kind of excited about that one and also the last time we were all there together, we kept getting in lines with Bjork. We too took one of those sly, sneaky kind of pictures of her, :rolleyes1 but it is waaaaay far away, but we know it was her,:cool1: she was kind of hard to miss if you know what she looks like, plus she has that accent.

True! Have you looked at the pictures my Trip Report lately?:lmao: :lmao::rotfl: I have Bret Michaels pictures in there AND pictures of a friend who did a few adult movies about 20 years ago (though he is considerably cuter than Ron Jeremy!)!! Some of my friends (former and current) did quite a few unsavory things as well and they were all at Disneyland. We all have, I guess. Life in Los Angeles, you know?:lmao: But it is amusing to see someone like Ron sort of 'out of context' at a place like DLR because it doesn't seem like it would be his cup of tea because he IS so involved in his business - that's why so many people know who he is. He is legendary. At least with Lindsay you can make the connection that she did a bunch of Disney movies, and she probably has a connection to them that way. She just needs to keep that "lint" out of her nose!

It would probably shock a lot of people that Ron Jeremy taught special education classes before he entered his current profession.

That seems like a 180 to who he is today, but mad props to him if that's true. It takes a special kind of person to be able to handle teaching special ed.

I had heard that, and I believe that I heard it from when he was on that one show where they take hasbeens, throw them in a house together, and he was in there with the lady whose husband was a tv evangelist that got busted and was in prison, she died in the last couple of years, (yeah I'm great with names, does it show :rotfl2: ) ,anyways he was so nice to her, cuz she was so, well innocent compared to the rest of them. . .

i will say this, then I will hide behind the sofa in shame because I know this...

The Surreal Life on VH1 was the show and Tammy Faye Messner was the ex-wife of Jim Bakker and co-host of The PTL.

Haha. I watched it. I'm a reality t.v. addict. It's pure junk but I love it.

Anyone see Whoopi there yesterday? She was just on the View showing pictures of her with friends and family at DCA. Someone here must have seen them. They're filming The View live from WD Studios all week.

I actually got tix to see the show but decided against it since I would have to leave about 4:30 in the a.m. to get there and with the time change that just wasn't happening. :scared1:

My friend (a CM) saw Whoopi yesterday! She was with a big group of people. He saw her buying ten drinks for the group, and three turkey legs --- see how many people one of those feeds!

Oh! I also found out yesterday that Tom Hanks and Arnold Schwarzenegger are both AP holders! I thought it was so funny hearing that!

Uh-oh - maybe I laughed too quickly!:rolleyes1

(Pooh keeps his winter clothes and pants handy specifically for that inevitable meeting with Ron....:lmao: )

I think he is a bright guy, and clearly sensitive if he taught the Special Ed kids. But he has such an unsavory reputation - even among his peers, he is kind of looked down on, in a way. My friend's ex-girlfriend was not the only 'actress' in that industry who refused to do scenes with Ron years ago. Others jumped on that bandwagon too. I just don't know how he got such a smarmy reputation but yet, it's out there. (I do recall seeing him backstage at a concert in the days when I worked for Bret Michaels/Poison in the '80s, and Ron pulled a random girl passing by onto his lap and was asking her what was underneath her skirt. Maybe he did that to everyone and got himself a bad reputation!:lmao: ) Still, he is probably one of the most recognized names ever to come out of that industry, and who hasn't died or been associated with some sort of scandal. Everyone knows who he is, by name or by sight. He is definitely notorious. Yesterday, I showed 4 of my female friends the picture that Goofycathy posted with Ron in the background. I didn't tell them who was in the picture. I just said there was a celebrity and they had to spot him and identify him. I totally thought at least one or two of them would think he was familiar but not remember his name right away. I was wrong. One after another, they each chimed in with a resounding 'Ron Jeremy.' (Actually one of the friends said, "Eeek, that's that troll, Ron Jeremy.") They all knew him instantly. So love him or hate him, Ron Jeremy is famous AND infamous.

Wasn't Gene Simmons a teacher pre-KISS days? That's a funny thought, but there is another bright guy with a notorious reputation!!

I watched it too. I watched all but the last season of Surreal Life in depth! You are not alone behind the sofa of shame!

I agree - total junk and crap and mostly everything is staged, but I watch a lot of it! I LOVE me some American Idol and Dancing with the Stars!! Of course, now I am hooked on Rock of Love on VH1 also. I totally did NOT get into Flavor of Love at all, but I turned on Rock of Love, Season 1, because I used to know Bret (see Disneyland pictures in Trip Report), and I have been hooked on that show ever since! And it's trash - I know he couldn't possibly be interested in any of those girls beyond a few romps in the hay!

I saw that segment of The View today (didn't watch the whole thing) where Whoopi showed the pictures with Mickey, etc., and talked about being on all the rides, and she said she isn't sure she likes the new characters in IASW! She said she doesn't know how she feels about the Disney characters in the ride!! I suppose she and her family traveled with a bunch of Plaids!!

Ok heres the pic, his left hand is on the phone and the right is holding a pretzel....the two blondes by him are the ones who were with him...this is what I mean when I said I "kinda" got a pic of him, DH was pretending to take a pic of me when all he really wanted was a pic of him.....LOL

Thanks for posting the pic! Now I must wash my child's monitor! LOL:happytv:

Good ol' Dirk Benedict!! Yep, that's right - I am showing my age!:lmao:

In one of those links that I posted last night (of the websites showing different pics of Lindsay and Sam at DLR from the last year), there was a picture of Lindsay and Sam before they arrived at DLR this week, but from the same day, I think. Did anyone notice that in the shot of L & S sitting in a car (before the OP saw them at DLR), Lindsay's face just looked a wreck? I don't know if she had been fighting, getting sick, crying or sleeping, or maybe she hadn't slept at all in days, but she looked a mess......like she was, at some point....maybe, possibly, perhaps....er, um.....in an altered state. And then they went to DLR after that bad picture was taken, and apparently, from what the OP said, the possible altered state continued on through Soarin' and beyond!! Wow! That's hardcore. She was (possibly, maybe) messed up beforehand and decided to just go to DLR, and then people witnessed her acting/looking messed up there too. I guess DLR must be Lindsay's happy place too, like it is for all of us!!

I find it funny and sad that Lindsay constantly reveals what she is up to in photographs - even if she doesn't know they are being taken, she is constantly being caught on film doing something that makes her look bad - but when she is caught red-handed, she denies it. She was recently shown in a London paper with a certain white, powdery substance IN HER NOSE - it was very clear in the photos - and she denied it by saying it wasn't what it looked like (it never is): "IT WAS ONLY LINT.":lmao: :lmao: And now I bet Disney is probably regretting that this fine role model for kids (Lindsay) was in any of their movies and is now being photographed with "LINT" in her nose and then at Disneyland!!!

Dirk Benedict OMG that man was so HOT!!!!!!! SO, so HOT!!!!!!!

I think I even recall the name of one of the actresses on the original Battlestar Galactica - Maren Jensen. Don't ask how I pulled that name out of my hat! I guess I remember weird, useless bits of info. Now, let's not even get started on a discussion about Randolph Mantooth in "Emergency"!!!

(About now, the younger DISboard members are scratching their heads, going "Huh? Randolph who?")

So...back to Ron Jeremy....

Steve Perry....I love Steve Perry. His voice is one of my favorites. Randolph Mantooth was so cute when he did Emergency. Then when he did that ABC soap opera and he was all grown up he was kind of on the handsome side. You know what I mean. Ewww. Ron Jeremy. I have no doubt that he is smart otherwise he never would have lasted as long as he has in his business.
