Do you buy something just because a certain celebrity is advertising it? Or would you merely be more likely to? Or couldn't you care less if your favorite entertainer was pushing this brand over another?

It actually might make me NOT buy a product if a celebrity is shilling it. That bugs me for some reason. I thought about buying Lauren Hutton makeup the other day when I came across it on an infomerical but she ended up annoying me so much I decided against it.

DH bought a Nike T-shirt (the one that wicks away sweat) because a picture of Tom Brady was on the display. He's now looking at a 800 Series Movado (keep dreaming buddy) because guess who he saw on the ad? I swear he would leave me for Tom Brady.

Me, I am not so easily swayed by a pretty face.

All commercials are paid actors as far as I am concerned so that gives them no credibility - paycheck in return for endorsement will alter the truth.
