Celebrity Apprentice

I LOVE Clay. Before the show I didn't have a feeling one way or the other about him, but I have a new respect for how he has handled himself and how he has played the game in the boardroom. I imagined that he would be sort of dumb, but he has proved himself to be the opposite. That's my hope for winner.

I agree! I was never a fan of Clay on American Idol, and I thought he wouldn't make much an impact on this show, but he's really proved himself, and I think he's a strong contender to win it all.

Aubrey is smart, and she does have good ideas (sometimes), but the plain truth is that she is totally all about herself. The fact that there are people defending her, just proves what a master manipulator she really is. Apparently, her Twitter feed states that she will be back :sad2: I figured the whole "walking out" thing was just a ploy. I'm sure she expects everyone to be worried about her, or to feel bad about how they treated her. The way she's treated other people on that show is way worse than what happened to her in the boardroom this time. I've known so many girls like her (girls, not mature women). They always get what they want, so it was nice to see one taken down a notch, if just for a moment.

I will say that I agree that Arsenio should have tried to talk to her more about these issues during the actual task. This season seems to have a lot of kissing up and passive-aggressive holding back during the tasks, but then the truth explodes in the boardroom. I am not a fan of Lisa right now, but at least she had the guts to get mad at Dayana and Teresa during the task, instead of waiting until it all came to a head later on. I couldn't believe the rest of the team just let Aubrey go on an on, dominating the task, without anyone telling her to shut up.

Kewl... what did it cost?

It was free. When I signed up online I got a coupon for a different pedometer, which was not in stock. They told me the kit was free if you had signed up online - the whole thing was very confusing.

I just did it since it didn't allow me to do it last night. I guess I'll visit Walgreen's tonight to get the kit. They do make it more involved than it should be.

I expected to pay for it :confused3 When I signed up online I didn't see any coupons or anything for a free kit - just the coupon for the other pedometer. When I couldn't find the kit or the pedometer I asked a clerk. She took me to her supervisor who gave her a cash register code to ring it up as free. The whole thing was clear as mud!

I do wish Aubrey would go away and stay away. I am also impressed with Clay - he is much more savvy than I expected.

Cliff to me, is a bit like Lisa and Aubrey, except he does it all behind everyone's back..and L & A have no problem saying stuff to faces. I started out liking him, now I just think he is a weasle. No idea why he blamed Dee, because of how the Blues gave their money..it wasn't Dee's fault.

I think you mean Clay? I agree with Clay, they won by what, $14? Judging by all the bills that were flying around I'm assuming most of them were $20 bills, which means if just ONE more person in that crowd walked off with a $20 the guys would have lost. Sure the Blue Men group have their own way of doing things and they probably expected the crowd to walk away with some of the money but I still think they could have handled the delivery differently and the balloon was a stupid idea. But I do agree it wasn't Dee's fault, if it was anyone's fault it's Penn's for not checking with the BMG to make sure that the money would be delivered in a safer manner.

Lisa L just needs to get over herself.
:thumbsup2 Lisa is completely delusional

And saying that Arsenio has WRINKLES?

What is UP with that little twit?

She's a nasty disrespectful insecure brat.

I hope the guys stomp her.

Aubrey is a total witch

Does any one else think Lisa is mentally ill? Seriously her obsession with Dayana is odd.
Lisa resents Dayana's beauty so much, it is sad really.

*grins* I'd already decided I wasn't defending my views today after I posted..LOL. I know everyone has their own opinion and that's the way it should be. I'm not saying Aubrey isn't selfish and narcissistic, but there's a difference between saying someone (Dayana) isn't creative, or saying that you're the ones who come up with the ideas (Lisa and Aubrey)- those are "skills" and not personality traits. Also maybe part of what's bothering me is they weren't on the chopping block when all those things were being said. He brought it up when he didn't "need" to. Aubrey and Lisa always made their statements when their team had lost and someone was getting fired. Why not wait and talk to her in the warroom or whatever-do it in a rational way. I don't think he played it right. If she does come back we all know what's going to happen if their team loses. I like Arsenio, I really do- I just thought he was waaaay harsh..and yes, more harsh than Aubrey or Lisa have been..sometimes it's as much about delivery as content, and his delivery was much more angry/inflamed than theirs ever was.

I am going to have to disagrww with you. Lisa has been incredibly harsh, brutal was the word I used to DH when he watched the show for 10 whole minutes...he also asked who the whiny witch with the red hair was. He got that in vibe without even really watching. And I totally disagree that those two would wait until the winner/loser was declared before they ripped into people...I mean Lisa last night trashed Lou immediately, before anything was announced.

I agree with you 110% ;)
I also don't understand why Arsenio continued to berate Aubrey and call her very bad names after he won. That was in poor taste and made no sense. He should have controlled her better as a PM. It never should have come out in the boardroom as nasty as it did-especially when the part that Walgreens liked was the box she put together. Did she say mean and rude things to him? Yes! But to sit in a room and be continually yelled at about being narcissistic- I would probably cry too!

I think Lou should have been fired. He is a one-hit wonder. All he does is talk about his hip and knee replacements. Yes, his speech was motivating but he didnt do anything else as PM toward the task.
And I'm still waiting for Dayonna to DO something. Funny how everyone else, every week, gets assigned tasks but somehow she never has anything to do.

Really so far on every task that has been lost, Dayana has pointed out before hand and been ignored, the flaws of the task, Last night it was the wording on the box being negative, during the medevil challenge she pointed out that they need to appeal to kids more etc.

I felt so bad for Dee...Lou should have been fired.

And go Aresnio:cheer2:, Aubrey got everything she deserved...let's not forget that the men have seen Aubrey in action during the boardroom and they already knew how she was, I think she just pushed the envelope too far with Arsenio.

Well in typical reality show fashion, Lisa is blaming the "editing"

Following Sunday night's new episode of "The Celebrity Apprentice," Lisa Lampanelli made it rather clear that she was unhappy with the way in which the show was presented on TV. With that in mind, you can expect to hear more from her soon.

In a new post on Twitter, the legendary "Queen of Mean" claimed that she would be explaining her frustration on Howard Stern's radio show Monday afternoon. While she says that her issue is not involving Aubrey O'Day's fight with Arsenio Hall (though she will certainly address this), she seems more upset with something that happened on her own team:

"They're doing an amazing job editing. The boardroom last night was the 1st time EVER I have a complaint. Ridiculous."

Is it possible that she is talking about Dayana Mendoza? We have to think so, as Lisa has come under fire for appearing as if she is hating the former Miss Universe for no reason.

From Clay's blog

What you didn't see in the Boardroom scenes this week: The first thing Mr. Trump asked each of us was how we felt about Arsenio as project manager. I spoke highly of him (as televised). Teresa spoke highly of him, as did Paul. When Aubrey was asked, she gave a very lukewarm "eh... he was only okay." This shocked me and appeared to be posturing. I am pretty sure THAT is what set Arsenio off on Aubrey. After days of trying to guide the team to work together AND of allowing Aubrey to steamroll large parts of the task, Aubrey threw Arsenio under the bus... and so he started swinging. It was a contentious Boardroom to say the least.

I find this interesting bc if you read it Clay describes Arsenio as very patient with Aubrey's antics during the task, and then Aubrey throws his under the bus BEFORE the winner is announced. No wonder Aresenio lost it. Wonder why they didnt show Aubrey saying what she did about Arsenio.

Okay, I'm here to give the unpopular view, LOL. I still think Aubrey is a smart woman. She came up with the theme and the box. That said- I do understand Arsenio's view, but I think he was waaaaaay too harsh on her in the boardroom, esp considering the execs loved the box and the theme and I don't blame her for walking out. When everyone on your team except one person is talking about what a selfish, narcissistic b*tch you are, it can't be an easy thing. I thought it was interesting that Paul pretty much kept his thoughts to himself, yes, he's always quiet, but I think he felt bad for her. To me, it's one thing to say "well, you're not the best at*whatever*", and that person being able to not take it personally..something else entirely to be attacked the way she was last night. Do I always agree with how she is? No, not always, but if Arsenio was getting that worked up, he should have said something to her during the task. Arsenio is good friends with Diddy, prob knows the background, and I think he was gunning for her as soon as Donald put her on his team- hence his reaction. I don't think Arsenio is a bad person either, I just don't think he handled it well at all. Ohh..and I do think she'll be coming back, will be surprised if she doesn't. (Then again, I never would have pegged her for the one walking out!)

Every member of the team, (except Theresa, because of the edit,) had said how great Arsenio was at trying to manage and control Aubrey throughout the task and keep up the spirit and momentum of the team. That's why he DIDN'T say anything to Aubrey during the task. he didn't want their team to become like the women's team who can't get along during the task.

A few previous contestants have said they work together for like 16 hour days, in an incubator-like environment. So, by the time they had finally gotten to the Boardroom, Arsenio had had enough. He no longer had to keep it in.

One thing about Arsenio, for those who have seen his talk show, is that he is an astute observer of Life. He didn't need to hear about Aubrey from P Diddy to figure her out. If anything, her behavior in the boardroom when she was on the women's team just reinforced everything that P Diddy probably told him. Arsenio had her number before she joined his team.

What is wonderfully amazing is that EVERY single thing he pointed out about Aubrey in the Boardroom (that we saw) happened in real time, in FRONT of Trump. :thumbsup2 There was no he said/she said, of what happened during the task, that was unclear to any of the Trumps as to what really happened.

Arsenio pointed out her exact words in the moment. Each time, they were all about her. When she was asked who came up with the game show idea, she couldn't remember. Because that wasn't about her. When Arsenio was handed the box, he took it for a moment, then moved the box over to be in the center of the whole team so they ALL could look at it together.

Aubrey picked it up to look at for herself. She didn't hold it up for the rest of the team to look at. Then when she was done, she pitched it away, without regard to Paul & Theresa. :sad2:

Hard for any of the Trumps to refute Arsenio's argument when they are seeing it all in real time, right in front of them. :worship:

I also think Aubrey's crying, at first was a ploy. She thought she could manipulate Trump. Heck, it got her $10,000 last week. She thought it would work on him again. But, even he told her to stop crying. :thumbsup2

She's one of those that can dish it out but can't take it.

Clay is the male version of Aubrey/Lisa I have not really known anything about much Clay Aiken before Celebrity Apprentice. But I have to disagree with the majority on this board I really dislike him. Aubrey and Lisa are in your face about how they feel. Clay is a back stabber. He talks behind your back and to Eric Trump no less. He is constantly looking for something to critize especially if its Penn. He really dislikes Penn. Its comical. Clay didn't bring in what Penn did. Teller alone donated $20,000 . And you can't put a price tag on the people and attention the Blue Man Group drew to the men's side. I'm sure alot of people were walking by ignoring them but when the Blue Man Group stopped by ~ people were stopping and donating. Sure there was money that was lost but they still came donating money and time. I'm glad Penn is not on a team with Clay anymore. I would really like to see Penn win. I think he is a real class act. He takes responsibility for his errors (calling Walgreens - Walmart) and generally comes up with most of the men's ideas. He is a real professional.

I don't understand Trump's infatuation with Lou :confused3 Lou is a definate one note player and I think most people don't know who he is. You also can tell Trump really, really, really does not like Aubrey.

Well, then, Arsenio actually won for his team by pulling money out of that woman's pants! :rotfl:

I disagree. Aubrey and Lisa are big ol' bullies...and very insensitive. I don't see that in Clay.

Geesh...google Lou...and then Aubrey. If, you don't know Lou, that should shed a bit of light on Trump's feelings. It's easy to admire and respect Lou. I have nothing nice to say about Aubrey.

Yes, Lou may have his issues but he has overcome alot. I dated a bodybuilder back in the 80s and he idolized him so I learned a LOT.... maybe more than I needed to, about him. He's an upright guy.

Don't know Lou??? I don't know Aubrey!

Yes, Clay gives his diary remarks, I think he's funny and honest. He is a little catty but not vile and nasty like the insecure twins. He also has a good sense of self, which is what I admire more than people who put down people just to make themselves look better.

The Lisas and Aubreys of the world will crash and burn eventually. They are pitiful.

Soooo...dare I hope that Aubrey quit? Oh please oh please....She sure was GREAT at dishing out the catty, witchy criticism but the second the tables are turned (and rightfully so) she becomes a catatonic wuss.

Some of these people are has-beens. Aubrey is a NEVER WAS.
