Celebrity Apprentice 3- No spoilers

Missed the last 15 minutes of the show---who did Trump kick out?

The full episode is actually up on NBC: :thumbsup2

For the Cliff Notes version:

Before it was announced which team won, Maria, the redhead, tried to throw Cyndi under a bus. Cyndi fought back. When Trump asked her who she thought should be fired on her team, unlike the first episode, where she was too soft to make a decision, she strongly said Maria.

Maria is an idiot. She can't figure out Trump will find reasons to purposely keep Cyndi & Sharon around as long as he can? :confused3

The men's team lost. Since it's only Brett, Goldberg & Curtiss, they never left the room.

It was decided Curtiss really had nothing to do in the final decision, since they didn't lose because of him.

Goldberg admitted to delegating 90% of the work & decisions to Brett, then recanted as Trump backed him into a corner, and it became clear Trump was gunning for him. (He was that transparent.)

Everyone was in agreement that Brett did a fabulous job, even though the men lost.

Trump never asked who Don Jr & Trace thought should be fired.

In the end, it came down to the fact Goldberg should never have taken on the post of Project Manager when it was so clearly should have been Brett.

Goldberg was fired.

The, Trump expecting the usual, said, "Well, I think WE made a good decision."

Trace: "I don't agree. Brett should have been fired." :scared1: :faint:

(Don Jr. crapped his pants. Well he certainly looked like he did. :lmao: )

Trace continuing: "When I spoke to all the music execs, they ALL thought Brett was the Project Manager."

Trump did some fudging and recalculating and said, "YES, he should have been Project Manager, from the start. This task was perfect for him."

Trace: "So the bad decision was made yesterday, when Goldberg decided he was going to be Project Manager." ::yes::

Trump: "Yes! I'm glad we are all in agreement now."

Crisis averted. :grouphug: Trace may even be asked back for a future season. :goodvibes

Donald made a huge mistake, It should have been Brent, How can Trump blame Goldberg for being elected to be Project Manager

According to his way of thinking, only 3 people really could have had the abilities to be project Manager: Cyndi, Sharon & Brett.

It would have been interesting to see, if Sharon hadn't been so sick, and she was able to have been Project Manager, how she would have done the makeover. :scratchin

I think Goldberg being Project manager & delegating the duties are the equivalent of a pulling a "Rod Blagojevich" in which a man clueless about what to do hires the perfect person to delegate duties to." It works in some situations, and yes, smart people & heads of companies do exactly that. But, not in Trump's world. :p

Anyone else think the girl make-over turned her into a Faith Hill lookalike?

Definite resemblance!

Thanks for the Cliff notes version, Imzadi! I thought Goldberg was going to be the one to go....sorry I missed the part where Trace disagreed with The Donald!

It must be nice to play this game and know that you can do no wrong, ala Cyndi, Sharon and Brett.

I must admit, seeing Brett on this show made me download some old Poison songs. Still as good today, IMO, as they were 20+ years ago.

Still great in concert too! I saw them last year and a few years ago had front row seats. Those guys still know how to rock!:thumbsup2

I'm glad Brett stayed just for the entetainment value. Goldberg has not been all that interesting on this show. I love how Cyndi has done a total 180 since the first episode where she played all nice! Bring out the claws! I imagine it could be quite the catfight between her, Holly and Sharon. My money is on Sharon. That woman is tough as nails!

OK, I finally watched last night ... is THIS show now scripted/staged ... ?

Come on, Bret absolutely should have been PM for RockSolid ... and why not because Bret wanted Goldberg's charity to win ...NO, so that in case they lost, Bret would still be safe as the PM would be fired ... ??? :headache: :headache:
AND that is exactly how it played out! :headache:

Bret and Cyndi are just annoying, they need to GO but week after week that are still HERE! :headache: :headache:

Bret is an over talker and Cyndi just always is right ...

Bottomline is Trump wants the ratings and every season there are some real annoying contestants that come on to CA and then they mysteriously just end up staying and staying after NO ONE can stand them anymore = RATINGS! ::yes::

Other than that I HEART TRACE!!! :lovestruc

I don't think it's scripted but I do think it is staged. Donald already knows who he is not going to send home. He tells the people what they think and he sends home who he wants and not necessarily who should go.

Nope, I completely disagree. Goldberg was the only remaining RockSolid member who had not been PM, therefore his charity had not had the opportunity to win any money.

We've seen for the last two weeks HOW intense Bret feels about diabetes - why wouldn't he want to win more money for his own charity, especially with his daughter's pending crisis? NO team takes on the challenge with any expectation of losing; this challenge is no different.

Red flag for me was this challenge was all about the marketing of a country singer ... hands down, whether or not Bret had won before and Goldberg had not won at all ... Bret should have been the PM. Period. Not this "you be the PM Goldberg and I will have your back" business. I really think Bret is there for CA's ratings.
Oh, I applaud Bret's charity, absolutely, that is a no-brainer, but he is such an over-talker it is annoying. :headache:
AND had the men still lost with Bret as the PM, Bret would be gone, Goldberg would still BE THERE with a chance to be a PM and win for HIS charity. But that is not what happened and now Goldberg is GONE with no money for his charity. :sad2:

I still feel and it is JMHO that Bret and Cyndi are there for the ratings. :headache:

If Goldberg hadn't stepped up into the PM role, Trump would have sent him home for that. Saying Goldberg was sitting back, taking a free ride. Trump makes up him own rationale to fit his needs. He even tried that strategy during their boardroom, asking why hadn't Goldberg stepped up earlier. So, if he hadn't stepped up, Trump would have said something to the tune, of, "I hate lazy people who sit in the background... yada."

Goldberg was the ONLY team member of the three, to not have made money fo his charity. Brett won $100,000 the first task. He could easily leave, but he's been sticking it out. He can also afford to be generous in letting Goldberg having a chance to win money for his charity, while doing all the grunt work for him. Kind of a "Wind beneath my wings," type of situation. Which is what he did. :thumbsup2 He also did it for Blago. And each time, he would have accepted responsibility for the losses. He has proven himself to be a man of great work ethics & character. :thumbsup2

Curtiss, *I think* won $20,000 for his charity.

Cyndi, this task, won $20,000 plus all royalties for the two songs for this week, which should be several thousand more. It could have gone to Goldberg, had his team won. Instead, Goldberg went home with no money for all the weeks he stayed. :( We're talking about a guy who dressed up as a tree two weeks ago. :lmao: He did whatever it took to help his team win and he leaves with nothing.

Thanks for typing this all out for me - that is exactly the way it would have gone.

Face it, the show is one long commercial for the advertisers he booked ahead of time. He needs to deliver the ratings he promised or they'll have to be reimbursed. DT is NOT about to do that. He know exactly who people are turning on for and for what. He's trying to start drama amongst the women because it was such a hit last year. The whole conversation he started with the ladies proved to me that they were going to win. He knew it and needed the drama because he knew the men aren't going to be "catty". So he sets up the banter between Cyndi and Maria. :rolleyes1

Like the poker player from last year, Maria is trying to make a name for herself. She knows she can do it with controversy. Problem is she's not that good of an actress! :lmao:

What's with Melania? She never smiles. Did she not negotiate enough in the pre-nup? Luckily, Barron looks like her. :thumbsup2

Brett saying he's sure his time to get his come up-pence will be coming soon was chilling. :scared: I hope he was only speaking in terms of the tasks on the show. :(
