When I make our reservation through DVC we are asked "are we celebrating anything?" I didn't see that option when making a non-DVC reservation. Does Disney still acknowledge our celebrations? Just wondering because my DH and I are celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary on our next trip.

Yes,you can have it noted on your Reservation and also mention it at Check-in.:)

You may or may not get a card, balloon, etc. in your room at some point.

You can also wear one of the "I'm Celebrating" buttons.:)

When you make your reservation you can mention it to the Reservations Agent and they will input a note into your reservation. It is really up to the individual Resorts as to whether or not they do something special for you, you can also mention it to the Front Desk CM upon check-in, if it is not already noted they will add a note.. It goes a LONG way being nice to the CM that is checking you in, a CM will be more inclined to do something special for a guest that is friendly versus one that is demanding.. (First hand experience as a Resort CM)

As mentioned, you can request that your anniversary be noted on your reservation. But keep in mind that nearly everyone going to WDW seems to be celebrating something. Keep your expectations realistic. Getting anything besides a Celebration button and a " Happy Anniversary" from the Front Desk CM would be a bonus.
