'Celebrations' Promotion for 2009

Ok so When reading the Press release, I didn't read anything about weddings. But I saw the TV spot yesterday (the one with the mickey Balloons!) and it had a bride & groom in a limo during the spot.

So does Celebrations include promotions for weddings as well? Or just birthdays and Anniversaries?

Other than the Free entry on your Birthday, there really isn't anything 'new' with the Celebrations. Its just a marketing ploy to get people to spend their honeymoon, anniversary, birthday, etc. at Disney. They may provide a little extra pixey dust and some frilly decorations but otherwise same ol' same ol'.

i believe they tossed wedding in there due to the annual pass you get with DFTW

Hi. There are some new dining experiences. I found this on the Disney World website...also on the website if you watch the Happily Ever After Video under True Love...Tim Herring (our officiant) is in the commercial..thought that was cool.

I'm really excited for the theme next year...I'm looking forward to the new entertainment. Were going for our anniversary next year.

Yeah, at first this new promotion made me say..."so what?"

That being said, now that I see Lynn's post about the special romantic celebrations I'm getting even more excited for our Disneymoon!!

Maybe they'll add more things on as they think of them and as it gets closer to 2009...
