Well, nothing again today. They have until the first part of next week and then I want my money back. Has anyone here on the DIS received theirs? Their has just been rumor that an issue has been received by someone out there somewhere but no one here seems to have gotten anything yet. Every day that it doesn't come makes me feel like I've been "taken". I don't like that feeling.

I guess, but I still haven't gotten mine! It really irritates me that they don't email everyone...instead we are getting bits and pieces of information from those who HAVE emailed them and gotten responses. UGH!

Well, we just got back from our trip, so getting the first issue before we left didn't happen. As a matter of fact, I'm thinking about e-mailing to see if I can cancel, don't care for the customer service (or lack thereof). Oh well, we had a wonderful trip and that's what really matters!

From what I can tell, the responses to the emails that have been posted are word for word to the email responses I have received from Tim from the magazine. They must just have a form letter email that they send to everyone regarding their magazine.

I paid in early August and feel a bit flustered by how untimely it has been.

So do you think we will get the holiday edition in time for Valentine's Day?

Nov 1st and the "early Oct" magazine still hasn't arrived.

I submitted a claim on paypal a couple of weeks ago, but I was out of the refund window. I did get an email from them responding to my claim by saying the magazine was delayed (same line everyone else has got).

I think you have to deal directly with the magazine and not PayPal. There's not really much PayPal will do about it at this point. E-mail the magazine directly and tell them you want to cancel immediately. They should promptly refund your money.

This is the message I got last night from Tim from Celebrations.....maybe this week!!!

Hi Kristen!
Sorry about that, we had a little delay on the print end, but the magazine was finally completed in mid-October and was mailed out last week (finally!!!). A few people have started getting their copies in the last couple of days (much to my relief), and the mailhouse informs me that we should all get them by early next week (I'm anxiously waiting for mine too!).

I cannot wait for a new Disney magazine - I really missed the old one when it went away years ago. I could never figure out why Disney discontinued their magazine. We got the little one - Disney Adventures (I think it was called) for awhile and Family Fun but it was not the same without good Disney pix. Does anyone remember it?

Just let me know if you all think this new one is worth subscribing to - I hope it is!!!!
