Hi

Has anyone been to celebration in the evenings to eat dinner? We were thinking of going here as its something we have never done. How is parking in the town? and what resturants can be found there?

thanks in advance

We went to Celebration one evening last year when we visited. We had already eaten so I can't advise you on the quality of the food. Parking can be a bit limited if you want to park in the main part of the town, although we were lucky and found somewhere straight away :)

It's well worth a visit, if we were able my DW and I would love to live there.

Celebration is a nice choice for an early evening stroll around the shops and then a meal.

We have only ever eaten at the Diner type place which is excellent. (Just up from the Celebration hotel on the corner) I can never remember the name - VERY nice meat loaf.

There are several large car parks all along the back of the main street and they always seem to be nearly empty whenever we have been.

Just wondered can you see the fireworks from Celebration?
Or can you recommend other alternatives to standing in the parks with the crowds? Unfortunately we are not staying on site :(

I haven't tried the food at Celebration but it's a lovely place to walk around and look at. The parking in the street is a bit limited, especially as some of the spaces are reseved for electric cars only so that they can plug them in!! If you park in the street make sure you park facing the way that the traffic moves, we got told off for parking in the wrong direction!!
If you are stuck for parking the Celebration hotel has a car park which you can pay to park in.

It's definately worth a visit to look at anyway!
We are getting married in the hotel next feb and i can't wait!!!!

Parking is on-street but there are three large car parks behind the main streets, as well.

We usually eat at the Market street Cafe or Cafe d'Antonio, which are opposite each other. There is also the Columbia Restaurant, a steak and seafood restaurant who's name escapes me, an ice cream parlo(u)r, a takeaway pizza joint and Barnie's Tea and Coffee.

There is also the English owned (as featured on TV) Sherlock's Tearoom and of course the Celebration Hotel.

As I say we usually go to the first couple of places which are excellent anyway.

hi, we thought celebration was great for an evening walk and was fairly relaxing after a busy day at the parks. We had some really nice dinners in the celebration town tavern too. It has always been fairly quiet when we have been so had no problems with parking.

Hi Annette-tr9, It's nice to see someone else from so far south!! home of the beloved Pastie and all that.
Congratulations on your impending wedding, how cool will that be getting married in Celebration.
You must tell us all about it as we have never managed to get there.
We travelled to Orlando last year and flew from Newquay with B.A. we have been looking at air southwest but coming up really expensive for may 05, also if we get fog!! and cant fly we would miss our connection and obviously now it's not with B.A also our Money.
What do you generally do , if you don't mind me asking?

In answer to the fireworks question, you wouldn't be able to see the Disney fireworks from Celebration as it's too far south from the WDW Resort.
