I read on Dis that if you are celebrating something in a restaurant you get a surprise at the table. we are celebrating my daughter's college graduation, but she doesn't like to be the center of attention. Will this be announced to the whole place or how will it work? thanks

A free surprise isn't guaranteed, just don't mention to your server that you are celebrating, and don't put it on your reservation if you make one.
