Celebration World Resort

Hi everybody:
I would like to get some opinion regarding the above resort. How long will it take to go to the park form there? Are there any section that nicer than the other? Are they quite new resort?
And any opinion at all if you have experienced it at all.

Hi,
I'll try to answer your questions about Celebration World Resort...


It only took us a few minutes, not longer than 15 to get to any Disney park.. with the MK being the longest, and the AK and MGM being the quickest.

This resort is quite new, it is still in some phases of construction.. or at least it was last year this time. All of the units were very will maintained. The common areas were clean and nice, the pool was beautiful.

The only 2 things that could be a concern were that half of the 1 bedrooms were quite small. Perfectly adequate for my husband and I. There was a small bathroom, similar to what you have at home, with no large tub. The other concern is that this resort has a section that allows pets. In the other part of our lock off unit, there was a dog. We could hear him bark when we came in, but he soon quieted down and did not really affect our stay.. I did think that if there would have to be pets, it was well thought out since the unit had ceramic floors which could be easily cleaned.

I will not hesitate to stay there again. It was clean, nice, well maintianed and a very tropically themed resort, just like I like...

Is this Disney's Celebration resort? It's right across the street from the Radisson Resort Parkway which is quite nice and probably a lot cheaper - rooms starting at $66.00 per night at this link:

The Celebration World Resort is a new resort west of Disney off 192.

A friend of mine stayed there while I stayed at the Indian Ridge subdivision in a vacation home. She really liked the place though they stayed when there was alot of construction going on.

I live in Brookhaven. I am planning to go either Thanksgiving week or in December but haven't really found any cheap deals yet. I just went to Disney in July and my DS (4) already begging to go back there. If it is not cheap, I am not going. Ha...

How about yourself? Which part of town do you live?
