I purchased the celebration tickets (3 day hopper pass) for ony $99. Anyone know if I can use those to upgrade to an AP? If so, will I be given full value for them (which is I think $199)?

I apologize if this has already been brought up. Can't seem to find a thread with this question.

Thanks!

Hi there,

Disney will apply what you paid for the tickets towards the annual pass. :)

Mary Jo is correct. Disney will only give you what you paid for them. :)

I was not aware of that particular ticket promotion. Where does one find it? Is it only for Southern California residents? TIA

Forgot to add; the current price for an AP ( Regular, which is called Deluxe ) is $ 269.00 not including parking. You can purchase via Disney's website, a special, at the rate of a $30.00 discount, AP. That offer expires at the end of this year. That would bring the price to $$239.00.

Please share with us where/how you got your 3 day tickets for $99? I'd love to get some too...
Thanks!

I think she is reffering to the "What will you celebrate" promotion. You buy a 3 day pass on your birthday and it comes out to $99 because you get one day free. Plus they aren't good until after the new year.

If I'm wrong, please let me know because I would like to purchase these tickets as well.

Celebration tickets are 3 day hopper passes for So Cal residents. I purchased them through my job, but I've heard they can be purchased at Vons or Ralphs (not exactly sure which one)

Do you have to show ID when using these tickets? I have relatives that live in Orange County that would be willing to buy them for me but I just want to make sure I don't have to use ID as well.

Thanks,

At least one person in your party has to be a So Cal resident, so if your relatives are going with you, you will have no problem. I've heard they don't ask for ID, but I don't know if worth taking a chance.

Can you tell me what dates these tickets are effective? We have friends in CA who want to go with us, so this could help us for sure.

Thank you! So, I assume there are no MM privileges with these, just like the summer special ones?

Once again, have to miss out on a ticket promotion, because I prefer to live in Northern Ca. When is Disneyland going to extend special offers like these to everyone that lives in Ca.? Any ideas? I am pretty much thinking, NEVER!
Of course, yes, I know, never say never................. :faint: which can happen when you are waiting too long, for one thing or another.

As soon as I purchased these tickets, I happen to get a free ticket in the mail that day. Don't know how I ended up with a free ticket!?!?!

I read about that promo, actually, I think on micechat? Seemed to be geared, at least a month or so ago, to Spanish-speaking people (the letter was in Spanish to some people). If you don't speak Spanish, perhaps they have expanded their marketing of the free tickets?

I think they need to expand to all of us on the west coast! Including Hawaii b/c they share the same ocean and they have the pacific on their islands' west coasts, too (and north south and east). :goodvibes

Yes, it was in Spanish with Goofy in the front. Don't know why it was sent to me since I'm not Hispanic. I'm not complaining though...I'll take it. :) Will use it at a later time.
