What's the difference between lunch and supper besides a bit cheaper at lunch? Just wondering if we should do this earlier in the day and save a few dollars.

Don't have personal experience, but I've read the menus. Dinner lists sausage and corn cob wheels, but lunch doesn't offer those items.

The sausage is so yummy. I was wishing they would sell the sausage from a cart at the entrance. That alone was worth the price increase for us.

Yup, the only difference is the sausage & corn cob wheels. The corn is something that can go, but the sausage is super good. We usually do lunch, and eat a lot and then don't need dinner. LOL

Well I'm sure my boys will tell me sausage is worth the extra money! But if that is the only difference then I'll just wait and see how our budget/itinerary shapes up. May be nice to have a big lunch after a RD then just something simple later in the day.

Jade it's all BBQ, they have ribs, chicken, BBQ beans, corn bread, coleslaw (which is the BEST coleslaw ever) and at dinner they add corn cob wheel and sausage.

Here are a couple pictures of the lunch we had at Big Thunder Ranch a few weeks ago. Delicious! This coming from one that isn't a big fan of eating meat off the bone OR coleslaw. Actually, I ate the whole bowl of coleslaw by myself! I was very happy we ended up eating here.
