Celebration notations on ADR?

I made all of my ADR on-line. What would be the best way to add a celebration notation to them? I don't remember seeing a place to add celebration notations via MDE. Should I call Disney Dining? Or should I check with guest relations at the resort once I arrive?

I was wondering the same thing. We go to Disney every year, but never bothered to note any celebrations. This year is my DH's 40th birthday while we are there and I wanted to note it on some of our ADRs. I hate to call and wait on hold to do it, but will if I need to. I was thinking of just noting it when I check in at the host stand.

I would suggest calling and adding the celebration to your resort reservation first.
Then they could transfer you to a dining cast member so you can have it added to dining ressies.
To make it easier for the cast member you will want to have the date, time and confirmation number of each dining reservation.
All of which can be found on your reservations page of My Disney Experience online.

They removed the ability to note celebrations when MDE rolled out several years ago. No idea why but yeah, you have to call now. It's a PITA. I just don't bother even though we go for my birthday and tomorrow we are going for our anniversary.

I think they removed the ability to note celebrations at the time of booking on line, because of the overwhelming variety of people expecting something.
Now it is more limited.
Your husbands birthday may or may not be acknowledged even if it is noted. It is up to the individual restaurant and/or CM
We have gone for years on Adult DS's birthday and our anniversary. We have had anywhere from nothing at all, to a verbal Happy Anniversary, to a cupcake and candle.
If acknowledgement or something special is important to you you should plan it yourself. There is an extensive Cake Thread here that describes a vast array of special cakes that can be ordered and delivered to theme park restaurants. I just don't want anyone disappointed if the usual nothing is done
Good Luck

We've always had great luck just by having an "I'm celebrating..." button on. Every TS restaurant we've eaten at, the CM has noticed and done something special for us (dessert, free glass of champagne, free appetizer, etc.). We have never had to bring it up to them! :earsboy:
