Has anyone stayed at this hotel before? Seems close to Disney, but away enough to not be bombarded with mouse ears. Any information would be helpful.

bumping.

I'm interested in Celebration Hotel as well. Thinking of staying there a night or two before we check-in to Disney.

Having visited Celebration a few times in the past, we've been looking for an excuse to stay at the hotel and eventually found one in April this year :teeth: . We had booked an NCL cruise out of Miami, but found ourselves having to fly into Orlando from the UK the night before (got a deal that was too good to miss). Other than the fact that we weren't there long enough to really make the most of it, we loved it there. It's a classy hotel, but small enough to be friendly. We had a stroll around Celebration (that evening was 'pie-fest' - you couldn't make it up! :teeth: ) and then settled in at the hotel bar and enjoyed the live piano player.

Oh, you've got to love the pie festival! Especially the never ending pie buffet!

CH is pricey, but an amazing hotel! Plus, you get all the Celebration shopping and restaurants right there and a 5 minute drive to Disney. Go for it! But, as you can see from where I live...I'm a little biased. :goodvibes

Compared with other hotels of its calibre, we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is part of the Kessler Collection and we stayed at their Mansion on Forsyth Park in Savannah last year. It was way more expensive and that was even taking into account the opening week offer.

Celebration is an amazing town. We've eaten in the diner several times and I love the fact that most of the patrons are locals, not tourists. When we were there in April, there were a bunch of police officers there chowing down. Let me tell you, you don't see that in the UK!

DH & I stayed at the Celebration Hotel in Feb. We arrived a day early for our WDW Trip and decided to spend a night in Celebration at their hotel.

It was lovely. Of course it was Feb and I think the price was somewhere around $129.00 for the night BUT we had a CITY VIEW. I believe the water view was more.

Beautiful hotel. The staff was lovely. We toured around the whole town all day long and even went to the SPA for a hair cut for DH and a manicure for me.

We ate in their lovely Italian restaurant in the middle of town (cannot remember the name). AWESOME and it was packed.

ALL in all very enjoyable. TRY IT! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the info, I think I will give it a shot. I was looking for something more quiant and personable. Thanks again. I will try to post a review after I finalize dates and my stay.
