Celebration Florida

I am it sure where to post this...but any celebration residents here? We are looking into possibly moving to celebration and would love any info...pros and cons. Thanks so much.

I don't live there, but have 2 good friends that do. We love visiting them, so much to do all the time. So peaceful taking walks while we are there, bicycles too. I would move there if I had the opportunity. I just visited them in April, another lovely trip. House are close together, I am not used to that, as I have a large yard here in CT. But I could get used to that.

Their names are out of my grasp right now but I think there are atleast 2 that post pretty regularly on the community board. I would repost there or do a search.

We live in Celebration and LOVE it! It is a great little community, and so close to Disney. We have been here 7 years and are very happy here.

We looked at living in Celebration for the reasons mentioned above - Good community, good location, etc.

Ultimately decided against it because for us the houses were too close together and I do not like that the garages are in the back. I ended up just north of MK in a Community called Summerport. Independence is also near me, which is being built very similarly to Celebration.

We also live in Celebration!!! And even with the cons of living there I do love it.

Pros:
We are maybe ten mins at the most from Disney and don't have to worry about using I-4 or 192 to get there
All the events are always fun: the car show, ocktoberfest, the "snow" at Christmas
97% of the people I've encountered in my 1.5 years living there have been very friendly.

Cons:
The association is really strict about what is "acceptable" and what isn't in home decorations
Parking can be hard to find during the events especially if you live in one of the condos that shares a lot with downtown like we do.
