Today was EMH at Animal Kingdom and we didn’t quite make it getting there by 8.45sm was our best shot! Anyway it was a lovely clear day again.
First stop was Expedition Everest for our fastpasses then over to Kilimanjaro Safari. We saw quite a few animals along the way.
The lion was just visible asleep on the rocks.
Then we saw the warthogs and other animals that we usually see.
After this we went towards Discovery Island and got a great view of EE in the distance.
We carried on past the Tree of life and went down inside it to see It’s Tough To Be A Bug. The wonderful carvings in the Tree of Life as you walk into the attraction.
The posters in the waiting area are nicely themed!
By now we were a little hungry so stopped for a hot chocolate and cookie, before heading over to Expedition Everest.
The views from the ride are amazing although brief! Then we went over to Festival of the Lion King and whilst we were waiting Chip and Dale came out and Chip ‘stole’ a shoe that a girl had left on the floor and ran off. Only to return a minute or so later!
Once again Disney cannot be faulted for a great live show.
The show was as good as ever and after this we decided to go and get the bus to POFQ so that we could get the boat to DTD and go past the Tree House Villas. POFQ is such a lovely compact and attractive resort.
